DjmUK Posted November 11, 2001 Share Posted November 11, 2001 Hi all, Is there a program one can download which informs me what my hard drive specs are..? - Access Time - Capacity (well, why not) - Buffer Size - Rotations Per Minute (RPM) The reason for this is that I wish to use the fastest hard drive I have for my O/S (Operating System). Before you mention, physically taking out the hard drive and reading the label...um, there isn't one on the one I wish to test. You could always look in the device mamanger, find out what brand and possibly model, then go to the manufacturers website and match the specs up with the right drive and then get a ton of specs on the drive.
