Lost - Season Three

Recommended Posts

Yeah the official one is cool think they are doing Video ones now and again and I think its cool because they could drop hints in video ones like what they wear for example when Damon wore the Hydra Hat (which I want one!!!)

Yep, and its crazy they have lost stuff now. things from T-shirts to hoodies to games, coffie mugs watter bottles you name it... and to have over like a billion websites all about lost, the products, and all that that right there tells you this is like the number 1 show ever. its the best....

I can't believe no one has asked about this yet:

If indeed Ben and the others have been on this island their entire lives, and if they are actually capable of leaving, then why the **** are they still there?

What can be worth living a life chosen for you in isolation from the universe without ever considering leaving?

Also if I remember correctly, Desmond failed to leave the island on his boat.

I don't think they can leave, though they want to. That's why Ben wants the sailboat so bad

Ha, I doubt that. Ben wants to play his little game with his new guests, and he can't play that game if they're able to leave.

Obviously something like those tasers would imply that they leave the island, and haven't just been trapped on there their entire lives. :p

Thank god no one was hurt in the quake.

I don't think Ben is lying. He's in a position of power, he wouldn't lie. Not in his personality and doesn't fit the profile. So long as he remains the top dog he will tell the truth or just say nothing.

As he said "Yes, I'll tell you what I want. This is it."

I DON'T WANT JACK TO SAVE COLLEEN!!!!

Wow, hold the phone. Kelvin is still presumed to be dead. There hasn't been any sign of his surviving Desmond's attack. You might be referring to Danny (the guy who shocked Sawyer in the most recent episode)??

Nope, not reffering to Danny. Although, I'm wrong - I got Inman confused with Pickett, sorry! And don't worry about the earthquake - nothing happened here on Oahu except for the really long power outage on the Windward side (where a lot of the cast lives). It was mostly the Big Island that got hit.

this just came across my mind, how come no one has asked what the termination of the hatch magnetic field has caused and what is the result of it, and if the button pressing was important why has not the others reacted to it, the others seems to just be living life before the termination. maybe we will find some answers wednesday, but would the termination have caused another plane to fall from the sky?

Ok this might be completely untrue but my coworker tells me

Sun's baby is neither her's nor Jin's

. I don't know where he heard it from and how they're going to explain that if it's true. But IMO, it's probably just BS.

Well, I will actually believe that. May be its because I like Sun, and believe what he said to Jin in season 2.

yeah what i meant was the instant before the termination, and if the field was terminated would the island be visible on radar, would there be no field to recapture escaping boats/signals?

Thats a very good point.... he does tell Michael the direction to leave so perhaps hes right

Well, I will actually believe that. May be its because I like Sun, and believe what he said to Jin in season 2.

I think the whole point of Episode 2 was to show just how much Sun lies. ;) So I'm fairly sure the baby is Mr Baldies

Just in case anyone was wondering, Mr Baldies real name is Jae. I'm assuming it is pronounced like Jay, but I could be wrong about that.

    • It's interesting to hear that AI growth is not investor driven.
    • A few weeks ago, I had this same exact issue. Unfortunately, I didn't think of disabling the Secure Boot option in BIOS. I updated my BIOS to the latest version for my MB and it resolved the issue.
    • I have a partial answer, when I used a multi-port usb hub I had degraded speed performance with 3 large external hard drives connected. I managed to snag a nice (yet older) USB3 based wavelink docking station cheap / used that has x6 usb 3 ports and almost doubled the speed of the external hard drives transfer rate. This looks to be a slightly upgraded model -https://ebay.io/m/LZtjTy
    • Microsoft faces shareholder lawsuit over masking AI costs and slowing Azure growth by Karthik Mudaliar Microsoft is facing a class action lawsuit from shareholders who allege that the company intentionally overhyped its artificial intelligence initiatives to distract from slowing cloud revenue and an exploding infrastructure bill. The complaint was filed in a Seattle federal court by the Michigan-based City of St. Clair Shores Police and Fire Retirement System. The plaintiffs argue that Microsoft’s leadership painted an overly optimistic picture of its Copilot rollout and complex OpenAI partnership. They say that the company did this while downplaying the harsh reality that building the data centers required to power these next-generation tools requires a huge amount of capital. Back at the company's Q2 2026 earnings report from late January, Microsoft revealed that its flagship Azure cloud growth had slipped to 39% (down from 40% the prior quarter) and guided investors to expect a further deceleration to 37% or 38% for the first three months of 2026. Now, under normal circumstances, a slight percentage point drop in cloud growth is a minor operational hiccup. But the Redmond giant paired that guidance with $37.5 billion in quarterly capital expenditures. This figure, which is a 66% year-over-year surge, blew past any analyst estimates at that time. Much of this amount went into buying high-priced GPUs and custom silicon that were required to train and run large language models. This is why the market reacted violently and just a day after its earnings call on January 29, the company's stock plummeted 10%, and wiped out $357 billion of capital in just a trading session. Microsoft is doing better now, though. Its Q3 2026 results showed its run rate from its AI business was hitting $37 billion, proving that enterprise demand for its infrastructure is very real and continuing to scale. Microsoft isn't the only company pouring billions into infrastructure for the AI boom. We've seen most Big Tech companies, including Amazon and Google, also get the results of these investments with stronger-than-ever growth and increased income. via Reuters
