Yes, folks, it's true. Nikki and Paulo do get a flashback episode. The interesting thing is the flashback portion takes place ON THE ISLAND. We will see what Nikki and Paulo were up to while the gang was off on an adventure. I'm interested in seeing this from the other point of view; particularly since we assume nothing interesting was happen.

one thing that has struck me, is the reason of eckos death, was his death necessary? other than the fact that the actor wants out of the series

The actors can't just leave whenever they want, they are under contract. If anything, it was because the scriptwriters wanted to kill off the character (not to fire the actor, and not because the actor wanted to quit).

Also, have you noticed Desmond's new gift? It was no accident that he ended up back on the island. It lured him. Links to his military career that are currently unknown contribute to this.

Knowing the way lost works we probably wont hear anything about desmonds "gift" for another 2 seasons, I noticed it wasn't used at all in the last episode.

Or more annoyingly, why it wasn't mentioned. It annoys me how people don't ask questions. Like why isn't Jack demanding that they tell them who they are, where he is etc in exchange for the op. It's just dumb that they don't ask the questions that we're all wanting answers to.

Well if locke said eko said "your next" then thats what he said. I even went back bunch of times to see if i can pick up what eko said, but couldn't.So we will just have to go by the facts...

Hmm I don't think Eko would ever say "You're next", but it's always possible the 'smoke monster' was inside him.. You never know with Lost! I also thought about the islands healing powers (Rose).. why is it that Ben is not healed? Or is he being healed and this is all yet another test?
