Lost - Season Three

Recommended Posts

I think ABC is digging a grave for Lost. First they change the scheduling from the way the first two seasons were setup. Then they change the time from 9 to 10 on Wednesdays. Now they might bring it back earlier than expected. You can't keep screwing the schedule up like that or you're going to loose those who sort of watch the show, but aren't hardcore fans.

Shoot, even with this wait that we've had, I already have stopped missing it. I'm hooked on Criminal Minds and CSI: NY on CBS. So if the show, in all honesty, never returned, I wouldn't miss it. I hate saying that because of all the time and money I've put into Lost, but the show isn't what it once was (the first season was and still is the best), so I wouldn't complain about it being gone for good.

Yeah its funny because I actually feel the same...I was getting into towards the end of Season 2 and then we had that big ending to the season and I was so looking forward to Season 3 but I feel its been a letdown...nothing spectacular has happened at all and the story really hasnt progressed imo...others will say we have but I feel I havent learnt much then I did in Season 1/2 and now with Heroes I am so much into that just like Hurmoth if it doesnt return then it wouldnt be a loss.

I found the first 4 episodes to be quite boring, but the last two were good and made me crave lost again... and then poof.. it was gone. :(

The Kailua house that Golden Globe nominee and "Lost" star Evangeline Lilly calls home was consumed by a fire early Wednesday morning, says the Honolulu Advertiser. At of 6:45 am Hawaii time, firefighters had doused the flames but had not yet been able to enter the house. Per the Advertiser, there are no reports of anybody being inside at the time of the fire.

UPDATE: The fire, which burned for at least a half hour before a team of five fire trucks was able to quell it, left Lilly's home a total loss, says the Advertiser. Lilly, who rents the place with two female roomates, was likely filming at a Waialua Beach at the time of the tragedy. The cast of Lost is scheduled to break for Christmas on Thursday. Source

Updated the original post with some new information :)

Episode 7 of Season 3 will be titled 'Not In Portland', a Juliet-centric episode.

Episode 8 of Season 3 will be titled 'currently not known', a Desmond-centric episode.

Episode 9 of Season 3 will be titled 'currently not known', a Jack-centric episode.

Episode 10 of Season 3 will be titled 'Tricia Tanaka is Dead', a Hurley-centric episode.

Episode 11 of Season 3 will be titled 'Enter 77', a Sayid-centric episode.

Episode 12 of Season 3 will be titled 'currently not known', a Claire-centric episode.

I wonder if episode 9 is where Jack will die and if in episode 10, that girl that Hurley asked out right before everyone discovered he had the winning ticket dies. If that's true, that will be a sad Hurley episode :(

Jack wont die !!!!

Alot of people I know get annoyed when I say Jack could die but people dont seem to relise that when his movie comes out and already it has a big buzz he will become a major asset to Hollywood and thus becomes just that little bit more costly for ABC to keep so you just never know...he wants to do more movies he will have to either cut down lost production or cut it all together :shifty:

EDIT: The Next Lost Moments btw will appear this Friday at 8am est right here

Yeah, but Jack is the main character, you can't kill him off and still expect a struggling series to live..

Yeah but the focus of this season hasnt been around Jack has it...maybe they are trying to shift their major characters to someone else?...donno I just think if his film is big then he might want to to pursue bigger parts

    • KillerPDF 1.5.1 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.5.1 changelog: Performance Save Flattened PDF now uses multiple CPU cores. Page rasterization is parallelized (PNG encoding runs across cores; the PDFium render step stays serialized since the library isn't thread-safe), so large documents flatten significantly faster while the UI stays responsive (#68). Fixed PDFs that failed to open with "Unexpected EOF" now open (#72). The failure was PdfSharpCore's Flate inflater (SharpZipLib) rejecting the FlateDecode cross-reference stream on multi-revision PDFs - files that open fine in browsers, Acrobat, and Foxit. KillerPDF now detects this and re-opens the file losslessly through PDFium, preserving selectable text. Thanks to @javajon for the report and a detailed reproduction. Grid view renders every page. It was capped at the first 26 pages, so longer documents stopped loading partway through. Tiles also stream in progressively now instead of blocking until the whole document is rendered. Grid Ctrl+Scroll no longer reloads every page when the zoom is already at its limit and nothing would change. Removed a stray horizontal scrollbar (a thin green line) that could appear across the bottom of grid view. Files on UNC / network shares (including the WSL \\wsl$ filesystem) are copied locally before opening, avoiding partial-read failures on network filesystems. Changed Minimum zoom lowered from 10% to 5%, so grid view can pack more columns (helpful for wide/landscape pages) and single-page view can zoom out further.
