WOW Huge Spoilers that just Boogles Mind!!!

..."At the close of the episode our beloved cast aways will inform the parachute girl that they're survivors of Oceanic flight 815. The parachute girl will give them the unfortunate news that what they've just told her is impossible seeing as how the wreckage of that flight was found and recovered, and that there were no survivors. The episode promptly ends thereafter."

Well its a rumour at the moment, but that will be a hell of a twist if its true.

maybe Jacob and whoever he works with set up a fake plane so that no one would look for the survivors?

That's an interesting theory. One that makes sense.

The Others don't want anyone looking for the island, so they put together a fake crash site to divert the attention from the real Flight 815.

I like it.

Actually thats pretty awesome...with them creating a fake crash site would fit well because they won't want loads of people finding them but now Penny knows that theres something there people are gonna come calling

i was rewatching some episode, the one where kate and sawyer are working in the rocks and alex tries to free them with her slingshot, demanding to see her boyfriend

i suddenly crossed my mind, the reason they seperated alex and her boyfriend is because ben was afraid she might get pragnent and die

Interesting theory actually...it sorta backs up the theory why the others want to keep some of the losties for themselves because they are highly important and also their population will drop over time...

Tailsection interviewed Francois Chau who plays Marvin Candle and this is what he said...

We know that Marvin Candle is going to be seen on the island in Episode 20, was it cool to finally be involved in working with some of the other characters?

Yes, Marvin Candle is on the island. Without giving too much away, I can only say that I have yet to have the chance to work with some of the other characters.

Just to head this off at the past.

No, everyone's not dead. The island is not limbo, purgatory, or hell. Let's not go there. Someone on the outside, obviously with a lot of power, put out the media story that the plane had been found with no survivors, so that no one would go looking for them. Now that they're on the island, someone doesn't want anyone finding the island, or any of the crash survivors.

Another great episode. If dead people could come back, then you would see Ethan and Goodwin, and the two that Eko killed their first night on the island. The fence did something to Mikhail, but obviously it didn't kill him. Maybe temporarily comatose? The part that gets me was the blood squirting out of his ears...

Perhaps Jacob planted a fake crash with some of the dead that were already on the island and in the water? That's going to some great length. It's going to be one heck of an ending!

Wow-- I want to know how Mikhail is still alive. And that was a very touching moment when Sun found out the baby is Jin's. Very nice touch to the show

Oh and the sperm count being 5 times more on the island. Talk about getting a home run every time :p

Not sure if this has been posted, but did anyone notice that in Desmond's flashback there was a picture on the monk's table that had the old lady from his previous flashback that knew what was going to happen and what had to happen in desmonds life?

She only said that the wreckage was found and that there were no survivors. They could have just concluded that there were no survivors even if they hadn't recovered all the bodies.

She said that they found the plane, there were no survivors and that they were all dead. Check again.

Mikhail's back! Anyone with an eye patch is awesome.

He said he was already dead before, I'm still wondering if he meant that kinda jokingly. I mean, he did just convulse and foam at the mouth a little. I don't recall, But did anyone check his pulse? Or were they too afraid to touch his body because he dropped in the field of that fence? He could have just pulled a fast one on everyone.

    • "just $100 per TB"? Just? Are we trying to make this seem like the new normal? Kinda weird to make it sound like that is not a ridiculously expensive asking price.
    • The reviews you refer to mean nothing. Where there is no journalism there is no reason to call the gaming media's opinion pieces "reviews". For GP games there is indeed a metric for success - increasing subscriptions. Which turns in revenue. The only circumstance in which subs do not rise when great is being released is a Game Pass system where the company is close to fully saturated with customers in a subscription. However, in that case as the theory goes you spend aplenty in all kind of games - from shady live service cash cows and customer offending agitprop crap in purple colours to robust and entertaining single player games. And keep a solid level of profitability. Ignoring the simply innocuous but mid games MGS has released primarily of the second kind.
    • Report: Microsoft to use AWS to help GitHub deal with a major surge in demand by Pradeep Viswanathan Thanks to the surge of coding AI agents, GitHub's usage has skyrocketed over the past 12 months. To meet this demand, GitHub started with a plan in October 2025 to increase capacity by 10x. However, by early this year, the company realized that it needed 30x scale. This rapid growth has caused severe strain on the platform's reliability, resulting in several small outages over the past few months. In April, GitHub published a long blog post explaining the steps it is taking to resolve these reliability issues. In the post, the company also confirmed that it is working toward a multi-cloud architecture for better resilience. Today, Business Insider reported that GitHub is turning to Amazon Web Services to help deal with a major surge in AI-driven coding activity. It is important to note that GitHub is still in the process of moving completely to the Azure cloud. The current plan is to move the platform fully to Azure by 2027 so that it can scale better as per developer demand. Therefore, the current decision to utilize AWS might be part of a short-term plan to meet immediate demand. A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed that GitHub is using multiple cloud providers with the following statement: For Microsoft, the decision highlights the operational pressure behind the AI boom. GitHub has to stay reliable for developers at a time when rivals such as Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, and other AI coding tools are gaining attention. And the decision to use AWS for computing capacity seems practical given the circumstances.
