Lost - Season Three

Recommended Posts

Want to point out something that may (or may not?) be important: Juliet wanted to confide in Kate.

I believe this is the point where Juliet becomes truly good - she sees that there is a real honest-to-god hope of getting off the island while being on the Losties side - she no longer needs Ben.

Just a thought. What do you guys think?

That's a great point and observation. I hadn't even paid attention to that, but I think you're absolutely right. She wants to start working with the survivors and gaining their trust and the only way to do that is to give them information. Why doesn't Jack want Kate to know is the question now. What will the survivors do when they hear the tape that Locke gave Sawyer? Will Jack turn his back or does he already know she is working for Ben still?

It will probably start the split between the group and the losties will have choose to follow Jack or Sawyer...

You don't think Locke will be back by then to lead? I would rather see Locke become the leader rather than Sawyer. But whatever happens, I would go with the opposite side than Jack, he's becoming an idiot.

Yeah...doesn't get why people won't trust him then him and Juliet have a secret they won't tell Kate even after what Kate said about Naomi

No I see Locke as "the chosen one" within the others they see Locke as far more of a special person then Ben I think...he could become the new leader of the Others if Ben at anytime croaks it...

Baby Ben and Ben's Mother

Yeah i think they do Rappy. When Richard was talking to Locke he said that they were tired of doing the rubbish things on the island, he then helped Locke telling him that Sawyer could kill Cooper

Cool link there :D

I don't see him truly trusting the Others though. Why would he become on of them if he doesn't trust them? We already know that Ben will stab anyone in the back if it suits him.

Yeah I can see that point Ben isn't to be trusted with his past track record...I think this week it could be very interesting to see how Ben was in the past.

I'm thinking five seasons as well. Possibly a sixth if they can maintain the intrigue, but that will be quite hard to do without filler crap.

I could see ABC wanting six seasons, but I think even they know that it would be hard, extremely hard, to keep loyal fans around for another three seasons. They've already had a bitch of a time keeping the fans around for three seasons, can you imagine six seasons?

Lost to last 2 more seasons

:D

...

Still, the biggest change may be that massive, mind-blowing, cast-related "game-changer" I keep hinting about—to which I am sworn to secrecy, for it is that big—which is revealed in the season finale. (I cannot wait for you to see it.)

That was expected, shame it wont be in the upcoming episodes.

ha, i'd like to see that! but seriously i think 5 seasons is just about right, not too short that they rush everything and not too long that they end up drawing it out and lose the interest of viewers.

    • Yeah, this is absolutely nothing new and EA have done it before. Burnout Paradise, released in 2008, had dynamic advertising billboards that were updated via the internet and targeted people based on location and what EA knew about them from their profile. It was particularly notable for the fact that the Obama presidential campaign ran ads in the game, in an attempt to reach a younger audience who didn't watch broadcast TV any more. It was by no means the first though. Battlefield 2142 from 2006 had the same thing. In fact, Neowin wrote a story about it back then. https://www.neowin.net/news/ba...-in-game-ads-clarification/
    • This is obviously aimed at the education where Apple has lost so much ground to Chromebooks in the last few years, but unless they come up with a comparable management system for education why would anyone switch back?
    • Here's how we arrived at that claim: Note that this is just Play Store downloads. The app is also available on the Galaxy App Store
    • Google Play states the app had more than 50 million downloads. What other metric do you suggest should be used?
    • MSN defined our generation in some ways, kind of like Snapchat and TikTok have done for future generations. I have great memories of the MSN era in the late 90s / early 2000s. In the UK everyone seemed to come home from School and go on MSN for the evening. We didn't really have mobile phones then, so other than going and knocking on your friends door it was a totally new way of interacting with people. I also loved how I could talk to people I’d met playing online games from around the world. Inviting people to NetMeeting and messing about with the shared white board and webcams was pretty fun, even if webcams only ran at a couple of fps over dial-up. All the random things you could do with MsgPlus! were really fun - I suspect that made a few people jump with /shello randomly blasting Mr Hankey out their speakers! Maybe I’m just nostalgic, however I do feel the internet and computers were more fun back then.
