Lost - Season Three

Yeah hopefully we find out. Question also how can those women (or even more) be living down there? Food etc

Well going back the map it says "Dharma Hatch" so there might be a Hatch somewhere on the Island to get out...that Cable can't be the only thing leading from it...

I disagree. Considering only 90 days (about) have passed on the island, and considering that the explosion occurred within the past few weeks, I would say that it's possible that the cable is the only thing connecting the station to the island. Otherwise the people in the underwater station would be dressed as the others are dressed now, rather than looking quite worn. Also, they wouldn't be in the station, surely, since Henry would have called them back.

If there was an underground tunnel connecting the station to the mainland, then why have the cable at all? People wouldn't need it to find the station because they could just use the tunnel, and the station doesn't need anchoring the the island since the support struts would suggest that it's grounded.

Of course, I'm just speculating. We'll just have to watch and find out!

Interesting episode, I love finding new hatches - and this one is just cool.

I really really really hope the spoiler-author had seen this episode and figured if he told the truth about this one he can lie about the season finale and people would believe it... because I REALLY don't want to see that happening.

From the promo it looks like Sayid, Jin, and Bernard have failed :(

I really hope the finale spoiler is wrong...

Aren't flashbacks tied to the current happenings?

Like "Greatest Hits" was Charlie remembering each thing as he thought about. There was Sun and her previous affairs. Kate and the murder. Sawyer and the murder. Sayid and the torture.

So how can

a flashback be a flashforward if the person doesn't know what happens?

Something interesting: They fsck'd up Desmond's concept of "visions"

At first it was that he "lived it before" but now, how can he have seen Charlie die if Charlie was underwater and he wasn't?!

Because your not suppose to know its a flash forward when watching? hence the cliff hanger effect. Its something they will, well, might of thrown in to mix it up a bit since everyone who hasn't read the spoilers will be thinking its a flashback.

That and if the episode is Jack heavy and we follow his character around, it might be that the island parts of that episode are the flashbacks, but i doubt that.

And I'm guessing that Isn't what happened in the vision, usually we see all the important ones that go along with the story, so the only reason we wouldn't of seen this is because he knew what was going to happen and lied, but if we saw this it would of taken away from the surprise of him not being killed.

Not really, he wanted to do it by the book so everyone else can get saved. If anything was changed it could make the outcome different.

Yeah also don't forget the Universe has a way of course correcting itself...so even tho he knocked Des out it will still happen...

No, that's not what I mean.

No matter what, Des is ABOVE the water.

He "lived it before" but seeing as he's not IN THE HATCH with Charlie, how can he POSSIBLY know about the blinking light?

He's above-water, not belowe. He didn't live this moment, so he can't possibly know.

Despite the fact that these episodes have been great, I feel they're losing it.

If Des is suddenly psychic and Jack has a you-know-what, then LOST is lost.

What Desmond sees are flashes, not the same as him living the moment in the future and then being able to relive it in the present. He knows where about the blinking light because he saw it in his flashes. It's the blinking light switch that Charlie flipped that caused his death. As Desmond said, if something is changed, the picture on the box changes. As far as we know, Desmond never saw himself in the underwater hatch.

Also, Desmond didn't just suddenly become psychic within the last few weeks. It happened after the hatch imploded, but we still don't know exactly how or why; the way you're saying it, they just threw it in there suddenly.

If you were looking closely at the trailer

Des dives underwater and finds the "Looking Glass" and thats why he knows

    • I agree. I also think Phil stayed too long. They should definitely fire whoever thought all a console platform needed was Call of Duty, Elder Scrolls, and Fallout to survive. Asha and crew are still saying they need more Elder Scrolls and Fallout games. They simply don't get it.

    • Mozilla highlights Firefox Nova 2026 redesign and more upcoming features with new roadmap by Sayan Sen Last month Mozilla confirmed that Firefox was set to get a major redesign this year. Dubbed "Project Nova", it can already be tested and will roll out to all users later this year. The idea is to keep the browser competitive in a rapidly evolving internet landscape. As such the revamp focuses on improving privacy, usability, performance, accessibility, and customization. Key privacy features including the built-in VPN, private browsing mode, and Enhanced Tracking Protection, will be more visible and easier to manage, while users will have the option to disable AI features entirely through a dedicated kill switch. Additionally, the redesign promises faster page loading, the return of Compact mode, expanded personalization options, and stronger accessibility support. You can find the full details in the dedicated piece linked above. In a new blog post today the company once again reiterated on Nova and also emphasized other new and upcoming features like the settings revamp that is intended to make it easier for users to understand browser settings. In order to make it simpler for users to keep up with such features Mozilla today is launching Firefox roadmap. Hence enthusiasts and interested users will be able to check out what's cooking and also share feedback about the upcoming additions. Alongside the roadmap announcement, Mozilla also highlighted what's new in Firefox 152. One of the biggest additions is the arrival of Tab Groups on Android. The feature, which has already been helping desktop users organize large numbers of tabs, is now beginning to roll out on mobile. Users will be able to group related tabs together, assign names and colors to them, and return to them later. Mozilla says support for iOS will arrive later this year. Firefox 152 also introduces the aforementioned redesigned Settings experience. The company says the changes are meant to make controls easier to find and help users discover features they may not have previously known about. Existing preferences are not changing, though they are now better organized. Another notable addition is the new Blocked Tracker Widget, which provides a visual overview of Firefox's privacy protections by showing how many trackers have been blocked over time and the types of tracking activity the browser has stopped. Looking ahead, Mozilla revealed several upcoming roadmap features. They include customizable keyboard shortcuts, as well as enhanced PDF editing tools that will allow documents to be split, merged, and reorganized directly within Firefox. The company is also working on bringing Multi-Account Containers into the native Firefox experience thus removing the need for a separate extension. Meanwhile Firefox's built-in VPN is set to expand to mobile devices. Mozilla is also developing AI-powered features like Quick Answers, which can provide concise responses to voice queries, and Smart Window, its optional AI browsing experience that is now available without a waitlist. Finally, a new Power Saving Mode is in the works and will help reduce the impact of resource-heavy tabs on mobile devices in order to extend battery life. The video below summarizes the upcoming changes in an easy to understand format: You can find the announcement blog post here on Mozilla's official website.
    • Dead on arrival at that price. Like they missed the mark by multiple hundreds of dollars - this should actually undercut the Macbook Air at $899 if they want any sort of sales / further adoption of WoA
