velocity3k
This is going to hurt Sony's soccer constabulary: Microsoft announced at today's GC Liepzig Convention that they have managed to get a complete lock on football for the 360. Pro Evolution Soccer 6 and FIFA 07 are going to be exclusive 360 titles for 12 months after street date. "The Xbox 360 owns football," said Microsoft's Chris Lewis. One thing that Microsoft really hammered in throughout their press conference was the importance of Europe. They defined it as "the battleground of the next gen console wars." Europe is a continent full of insane, slavering soccer maniacs. This is just one less incentive for the average European to buy a PS3... besides the fact that they just won't be available for awhile. Source | http://www.kotaku.com/gaming/microsoft/xbo...nied-196058.php This means that the next-gen versions of FIFA 07 and PES 6 are exclusive to the Xbox 360 for 12 months (so you won't see them on the PS3 or Wii), the standard versions will be multi platform on last gen consoles and handhelds. TokyoKiller
Right...I can't see EA actually doing this.
WelshBluebird
I've said this on other forum aswell. I don't really think its much of a deal by MS. Think back to last year, The 360 was released after Fifa 06 and PES were released, so those games were not released on the Xbox 360. Now this year, exactly the same thing, the games are to be released before the PS3, so they won't be released on it afterwards. Its just common sense really.
