Elliot B.
I am with Barclays Bank and do not have a cheque book, just a VISA Electron card. I am on a website that is asking for my Account name (all above board). What would it look like?

MasterC
I am taking a TV with me and I want to legally watch programmes. What the :| That's kinda weird. you have to pay to watch TV after you've paid your TV provider? Or am i missing something...
Storm
we dont have tv providers over here like you.... all of our free to air channels are free (appart from the tv licence) which is so that there are no adverts on the BBC's channels! You can get satelite/cable but thats different, there are plenty of free to air channels :)
FloatingFatMan
Actually, that's somewhat of a misconception. The TV license isn't so you can watch BBC without adverts, the TV license is to, and I quote "Own and operate equipment capable of receiving a television signal". You have to pay it even if you don't tune your TV to watch BBC. It's for the operation of the equipment itself and applies to TV's, videos, and TV cards in computers. And yeah, it's a bloody rip off!
