AutoPatcher XP September 2006

Recommended Posts

Depends on your meaning of more to download. If you already have August, then Sept. is only what, 13 meg more. That is less to download then another over 200 meg full version. Even on slow dialup, it took just over an hour to download. To download the full Autopatcher takes approx. 24 hrs to download. And if you have high speed, even if you have to download the full then the update, it'll only take a couple of minites to download.

Are these all the updates made by Microsoft in September? I'm asking this to know if there is going to be an update of this version of AutoPatcher? Or is this the final version for September?

This will be the only releasr this month

Is there are the version of Dutch autopatcher aviable?

If in the initial post there is a mention to it, then there is an official Dutch version release of AutoPatcher for this month... *Checks thread's 1st post* which, at the present moment, there isn't none (unfortunately for you). ;)

At Gandolas: Although there isn't any mention on the file label for the Portuguese version, it is a full release right? Just checking... :shifty:

And btw, how were the vacations? 'Finally' got back to our fine country?

I'm trying to run the September XP update into my Autopatcher full version from April but am having troubles. Should I have downloaded the August full, or is it supposed to work with the older version? Cheers.

Either download August Full and the use the September update or download all of the updates from March to September and apply them in order on top of the April release.

I made download of autoepatcher and the same not functions in mine windows XP SP2 BR.

please they help me. :( :(

You're using the wrong version if AutoPatcher, AFAIK there is no BR release.

Are these all the updates made by Microsoft in September?

Before AutoPatcher release, always.

I'm asking this to know if there is going to be an update of this version of AutoPatcher?

After AutoPatcher release, never.

Or is this the final version for September?

Always.

Either download August Full and the use the September update or download all of the updates from March to September and apply them in order on top of the April release.

Yep, I had applied all the updates in order since the April full release. When I went to apply the Sept update windows didn't know what to open it with, so I opened it with the Autopatcher installed in April. It loads, but shows nothing to update except the things I didn't install previously, eg .Net etc.

    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
