Well it started out being watched by 11m people then they had the massive hiatus...then they came back to a lesser audience and even been mentioned in a list to be canned...so if they answer massive questions its because they are worried that it may not return.

GOD NO

I love this show

It is the only show at the moment that doesnt include superhuman powers or dragons :s

it's hard to believe that after 3+ months little would still be known (I'm pretty sure it's 3+ months already, since I think a few episodes ago they had mentioned it had been 11 weeks already or something).

didn't they mention in this episode that its been 5 months? (not 100% but i think i remember hearing that)

Great episode though, I am glad they have decided to tell us even more about what sorta has happened. Though I still wish they would show us more of what has happened outside of Jericho, more news, what is currently going on and all that stuff since it's hard to believe that after 3+ months little would still be known (I'm pretty sure it's 3+ months already, since I think a few episodes ago they had mentioned it had been 11 weeks already or something).

Yea, but these are people living in a rural town. They seemed more worried about surviving then actually learning what happened, most of them at least.

I think you are right, I think I am getting my dates mixed up with LOST. Because I've replayed most of the last episodes and cannot find where I saw this so I think it was on LOST.

Well anyone would be worried about surviving because of the food shortage problem they are trying to deal with right now. It doesn't help either that more people have come into Jericho, like a previous episode where they tried to kick them out.

I'm not saying they should not be worried about this or anything else but I am pretty sure if this happened in real life, myself included, that at least someone would be trying to figure out what happened outside of their town to hopefully better help the town and what not else. I know they have already started to get little information here and there, from the TV or when they explore outside of Jericho such as when they found that one trading camp ground places and such. They have mentioned about camps made by FEMA being overcrowded and uncontrollable.

I just cannot see Jericho lasting more than a season or two of constant problems inside Jericho. Yes, that's the name of the show but its just a show name and town name. At least Jericho is not on the NBC network as I am sure it would of already been cancelled by its 6th episode I'm sure.

They could do like LOST and just confuse even more every episode :D

Mark your calendars, because the season finale has been set for Jericho as May 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, reports SCI FI Wire. Along with the date, they?ve also posted an ?official? spoiler from CBS.

In it, one of the town?s leaders will not survive when Jericho must defend itself against an attack by the citizens of the nearby city.

Nope he survived because in the last episode when the Turbines arrived he was first to meet them...but I hate him as well so wouldn't mind seeing him go

The biggest trend in broadcast television in the 2006-07 television season seems to be networks' desire to put a lot of time between episodes as NBC has done with "Heroes," what ABC did with "Lost" and what CBS decided to do with "Jericho." But in terms of split seasons, it looks like those shows will go three-for-three in the renewal department.

A source tells SyFy Portal that CBS is expected to pick up "Jericho" for a second season, although it may move to a new night when fall rolls around. The show has had a tough time against competition such as "American Idol" on Fox this spring after its return, but the network has shown nothing but promise for the show, giving it a full season order when some thought it might be heading to the big one-season place in the sky.

"Jericho" stars Skeet Ulrich, Ashley Scott and Lennie James and has found ways to revitalize fears not felt since the Cold War in what seems to be a post-apocalypse Kansas.

Last week, "Jericho" beat out the season finale of "Til Death," which had been finishing in the Nielsen weekly top 20 according to overnights, earning a 5.3 rating/9 share and winning the 8 p.m. time slot. That helped CBS take second place for the night, behind an "American Idol" fueled Fox.

News of a renewal would be great news for a legion of diehard fans of the show that have been behind it since the beginning, but it's unlikely that CBS -- or any other network for that matter -- will be ordering too many more story-arc dependent series such as "Jericho" as it and "Heroes" are basically the only ones of this type surviving after debuting last fall.

Of course, none of this has yet to be confirmed by CBS, so take it as you would any other rumor.

No I heard that as well...

That board tho was weird it was basically Newberns most influential people i.e the Sheriff, Mayor letting them own a piece of Jericho...i.e Sheriff having the mines and the mayor having the farm....so basically they are waging war against Jericho and wanting to rid of them all because they are in a better condition then them.

Another solid episode I can see why next week New Bern declares war!!!...Hawkins isnt fantastic after all he got shot!!!

Well, Id say he's still pretty fantastic :p

He took out 10men and a factory before getting shot once :p

Videos are down :( stupid youtube :p

Hawkins really must have destroyed all of the munitions factory. Jericho couldnt possibly withstand a mortar attack
