Yeah it was a great episode, I can't wait for the finale... but I really hope the show gets a second season.

Yeah it worrys me that they might not renew it and we never know what happens in the future especially as the cast said Season 1 ends on a Cliffhanger!!!...

the ratings have dropped because the episodes have become far less suspenseful than the first few ones were. if they get back to more dramatic government conspiracy people freaking out stuff, it'll go up.

not to mention how damn clean everything is still. pretty sure if the world was ending, people would be a lot more violent, and swearing a whole lot more.

they need to kick it up a notch. or sell it to HBO.

Yeah I agree with you there about the first episodes being suspenseful but I feel right now the season has picked up even tho the series is nearly finished but the current situations could lead into great story lines for season 2.

I thought it was getting really dumb for a while but after seeing the last two episodes last night (dvr) I am really liking this show. I like to see Hawkins kick all these people's asses! I think he should get his own show.

Pretty good ending...

so to summarize they used the tank and it made quite the dramatic entrance, Johnston Green is killed in battle and now Jake must step up and be the towns quasi-general with Hawkins in an advisory role.

We also learn the Army is tacking back control of America and most of the six factions claiming leadership of the country have folded, unfortunately the evil terrorist leader is high up in one the few left standing.

And finally we close on a cliff hanger with New Bern attacking again both by train and road while a Army chopper convoy from the "government" comes to stop the fighting and find the "terrorist" Hawkins.

Now hopefully will receive final confirmation of a second season by next week. Then it's just a matter of waiting...

Yeah that episode was awesome I think its aired now so no spoiler tags I think...but still the ending came to quick imo...and also it seems Hawkins time is coming to an end after he was tracked...weird I still don't understand the government and wtf was up with that flag!!!!

Basically After the attack six different men claimed to be president as the nuke that destroyed Washington killed all the guys in line for succession after the death of the president.

Six men (each claiming to be president) then set up new capitols in (Rome, New York - Columbus, Ohio - Montgomery, Alabama - San Antonio, Texas - Sacramento, California - & Cheyenne, Wyoming) Cheyenne being the capitol who the Army in this last episode is serving. Colonel Hoffman states there are "a few holdouts such as the East Coast and Texas." So that probably means San Antonio & Rome. Presumably each capitol had or has it's own flag. The Flag shown in the episode is said to represent 21 states (all the ones west of the Mississippi River excluding Texas).

At "Camp Liberty" when Colonel Hoffman talks to the government in Cheyenne it's reveled that he's talking to the man who Hawkins worked for on the nuke task force and who secretly was the leader of the terrorist cells who launched the attack.

I thought the death of Johnston was quite lame I mean in the episode before he was fighting New Bern no problem then he gets shot like a chump...oh well I wanted Gray to peg it :D...next season I can see Hawkins being on the run now they know where he is.

Great episode and didn't know it was the last one. It's a great mini series, some episodes were on the boring side but i think it makes great tv if you get a mix of action, drama and thriller! Anyways can't wait for 2nd series when ever that is :D

i didnt know that was the last episode of the season, in terms of cliffhangers it was pretty lame. we have two groups just lining up facing each other and begining to shoot. in the begining it was set up as if jake was some super soldier/mercenary but now it seems they abandoned the storyline and hes not showing any amazing 'skils' anymore.

The premise of the show was very interesting at first, then in the middle it got very boring. But in the last few episodes it improved somewhat. im hoping season 2 continues the progress made.

Yeah he was a delivery driver but while he was out there he saw Ravenwood hence how he knows all about the mercenary stuff...

I also didn't realize that this past episode was the season finale. The episode was good, but not that great for a finale. I do hope they get signed on for a 2nd season, because things got a lot more interesting in the past month or so. Hopefully they can keep up the pace next season.

Yeah especially as he is a former Vietnam veteran I think he is...:(
