Damn seriously making me thinking twice about renting it.

I agree with Dave MB. It's worse because you have to play through the entire game twice, thanks to the hard difficulty achievements not unlocking the normal difficulty ones. And the game's a snoozefest the first time through, nevermind the second!

welcome aboard yak, indeed every little bit helps.

slane, we're on course, no problem. 60K will be met very soon, i'm guessing first week of December. not sure about the 2 mill GS arriving that soon, but confident we can clock that before Dec 31. you have your objectives people, get to it.

EDIT: ynnoj, poverty is no excuse. semper fi!

Yeah and in some bits you can make a dash for the finish, the secret eggs are annoying - it's more linear than ____________________ < that and I'll be leaving it in a dark place for a few months to see if I can do normal mode once I've finished hard. The camera sucks, the gameplay sucks, the graphics aren't brilliant, the storyline is iffy to me, the controls suck, there is no fun to playing this game.

I need media center achievements....

Why is there no media center achievements ?

"50GS Achievement for watching unhealthy amounts of lame Star Trek DS9 over the last week" :)

or

" 100GS Achievement: Eureka Season 2 completed"

hmmm good call slane, that means 100K GS to go...we're well on target. the 60K marker i'm not even slightly concerned about. btw COD4 is a pretty decent pointmaker, ain't it?

jonny don't look for shortcuts, get off your kiester (spl?) and start plugging.

EDIT: oh and munky, instead of posting all those news items how's about lending a hand and doing some GAMING?

I've forgotten how  Think I'm ill.. :p

EDIT: and where the hell is Vykranth?

Me? Sleeping, of course, why do you ask?

I am still holding the 20th place of the leaderboard, even if Pheis is raidly closing on my butt.

I have dusting the games shelves, trying to get one of the remaining achievements in Burnout Revenge, trying to finish Puzzle Quest and SwitchBall (stuck on one of the puzzle in Switchball)

    • How backwards can you have it? Yes, Linux was gaining because of Linux handhelds and the push for gaming compatibility, but that's not desktop users, it barely converts anyone who owns a SteamDeck, though it helps for those who wanted to do it, but anyways, the AI+RAM debacle helped Linux because people can't easily upgrade their PCs easily and many hate AI so they'd be incentivized to try Linux.
    • 🤦🏻‍♂️ No, expected because 10 EOL
    • Dude, it's a .reg away from a permanent modification. If you're a power user, look it up and keep the .reg and stop being a crybaby expecting MS to include customization for everything on a generalist OS. The default is what's the best UX for the majority of the userbase, non techie people.
    • Logitech MX Creative Console is down to the lowest price by Taras Buria Having a Stream Deck-like device next to your keyboard could be a massive productivity boost. It lets you map specific actions and shortcuts to speed things up, and Logitech has such a device for you with a big 20% discount. Right now, you can save $40 on the Logitech MX Creative Console. The MX Creative Console is an unconventional accessory that consists of two modules. One module has nine customizable buttons, with each having a built-in display for mapping. You can assign apps, shortcuts, actions, or something else. There are nine buttons, plus two more for switching between "pages" of actions. The second module has no displays. Instead, there is a big twisting knob and a small roller for precise adjustments in creative apps like Photoshop, Illustrator, Affinity, and more. There are four additional buttons as well. The MX Creative Console is available in two colors: Graphite and Pale Gray. Both are now 20% off, saving you $40.
