Working on DiRT now. Bit of a grind for the final 4 achievements (total of 150 GS) but hopefully having it sorted in the next week.

Once I've got the older games completed, I'll be hoping to get some mega GS in a short time. Considering finishing off Fable 2 after this.

Part of the idiot in me wants to finish off Forza 2 - That's gonna take a while so I'll do it on and off as my current driving game after DiRT.

Good luck with DiRT (never played it, but I have played DiRT 3 to know that the game is VERY grinding)

GS 18225 :D

Finished LA Noire, back to Castlevania LoS. Seem to be enjoying that more now than I recall.

Not really a fan of the gymkhana events in DiRT 3, I mean they're cool enough and all that, but I just wanna race god damn it, and they are getting in my way

hey guys, i'm back, did ya miss me heh heh?

good to have Anaron and Dark Fiber posting here again, can't believe you guys are still so low on the GS  Anaron, you really shouldn't be asking that question, not you of all people. you know well that gamerscore is just a result of playing lots of different games, it's got nothing to do with SP vs MP or anything like that. i have over 250 games on my Xbox Live account, and only three are 100%...not too hardcore but i get my quality time in with the games so the score builds up over the years. no idea how you dudes have managed to have a 360 for so long and still keep those low low scores! you must be getting better usage out of your toaster, no offense intended!

tazzeh - congrats on completing Wolverine, like i said, admirable! that last boss fight was a true pain.

Astro Zombie/Subject Delta...well, can you pick a name please  what achievements do you need help with?

I need help with Modern Warfare 2 on the Spec Ops. :( I also need a little help with Gears 2, and looking for someone who has the extra six maps for BioShock 2.

Cheers neoadorable, took me a couple of attempts to get the bugger but got there at the end with millimetres of life left on my health bar (perfect way to end it really...) :D

Also, DiRT done!

Tried to carry on my 2 year old save game of Godfather but failed miserably. Decided to carry on my half complete game of TMNT! Should be an easy one to do...

TMNT i remember was a good source of points when it came out for a lot of people here.

delta - heh sorry, i don't play those games anymore, but you can keep asking around here and there's also a dedicated thread for setting up XBL matches. i'm sure you'll find plenty of people, plus there's always your friends. those are still popular games, i just don't play them myself.

well you're not racking them up fast enough boyo  i am likewise in danger of missing my goal for the year...i have almost s6K GS to add and only four months to do so! my average is like 800 points a month...do the math!

Lol, too busy with other things and of course My xbox is jealous of TF2.

keep going, you need to be much higher than 25K by now with all those games...glad you like LA Noire, it's a decent game.

and toast...Captain America? really? and you're still not at 6K? how is that even possible

I give up on 100%. I'll lower my goal to 90%. Damn kinect keeps screwing me up. So back to building up a high gamerscore, but imma try to stay above 90% at all timed. Finishing LA Noire and more work in just cause 2 should put me there. Probably should finish up phantasy star also.

you must be getting better usage out of your toaster, no offense intended!

My toaster does get a lot of action, it has to be said

You are right though, my score should be a lot higher by now. Must play more :/

I do have another profile with around 6k GS on it, but I use that one on my jtag for Jap games (that I end up not understanding how to play), emulators, dodgy/broken dev copies, and other rarities, so that profile will never grace XBL

slane - i think you're making the right decision. 100% is just too tough in many cases, and keeps you occupied so you don't get to enjoy as many games. plus i think your score has been stagnating.

darkfiber - yeah keep that jtagger offline...that 6K sadly doesn't count! i'd suggest you increase your score, as it's waaay too low for the amount of time you've had an Xbox. anyway, i'll be trying to ask around and check if we can have a new leaderboard set up somehow. there has to be a way!

Score has been. Just not enough time to play really. Should be opening up here shortly though. Gotta make time for Forza4 and BF3 (which I'll just play MP and not worry bout score :p). I like the challenge of 100% and it's still doable, I just keep playing Kinect on the wrong accounts and I really have no intention of trying to 1k an Kinect game. As kinect is pure fun for me and I'm not trying to take it serious.

why do you have so many gamertags?

and toast, yes, the GFWL is a well known "cheat". well not really, they want you to play the same game twice on two different platforms with the points as a nice little bonus, i've done this with many games. i'm also nearing 73K, only 5K to go till may annual goal! toast, can't believe you're STILL not at 6K! that's horrible!

Got the full 1400 on L.A. Noire, traded that in to Blockbuster to use for credit when Fifa 12 comes out. And nearly got all the new Zombie achievements on Black Ops - Completing them will take my game completions to 50 games with max gamerscore!

Tempted to buy Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Dead Island but I may just rent them.

why do you have so many gamertags?

Always use my info for friends and ****. Called up support and dude said I had over 40 listed accounts to my phone number (same number since Halo 2 was released). Idk. Spent like an hour the other day cancelling all but 1 account. Was tired of multiply 1 month charges to my card. Was starting to break the bank. :/

Rob...are you back already? has it been that long?! as for Deus Ex, a definite buy, not a rental.

slane - you really are a complicated man. how many accounts were you paying for exactly? and WHY?

If you feel like you get a lot of value out of the site please do whitelist ads on the news articles, and/or consider getting a subscription, we offer two tiers, one at: $14 per year (support the site for just over a dollar a month) or the $28/year tier (just over $2/month) that disables advertising and affiliate link tracking throughout the site (so also on the news side). We also have a 'Buy us a coffee' page if you just want to make a one-time donation. I am not mincing words when I say it is becoming harder and harder to monetize publications like Neowin, it's a fact of life that when we can no longer afford to pay for everything we'll go like many other sites already have. It doesn't have to cost you anything There are other ways to support Neowin too, like posting on topic content in the forums (technical support/questions/helping others) and sharing our news articles.. this costs nothing but your time and is just as important as subscribing or making a monetary donation! Anyway thanks for your time and continued support of Neowin. Now in our 26th year, and hopefully many more! It supports magnet links, .torrent files, resume data, sequential downloading, per-file priorities, and even imports from qBittorrent. Power users benefit from integrated RSS auto-download with regex filtering, duplicate detection, and automatic tracker lists from Stremio. Streaming is seamless thanks to auto-detected players like VLC and IINA. It now looks like the same product, not a separate dashboard. Pairing is one tap and zero typing: the generated WebUI password is now copyable, and the QR code carries the credentials — scanning it from your phone logs straight in (no typing the IP or password), then drops the credentials from the address bar. Search Two new providers: RuTor (CIS sources, no login, via a public TorAPI relay) and Torrents-CSV. Results are sorted by seeders (healthiest first), and each search now times out after 15 s so one dead provider can't hang the UI. Files & trackers Per-file priority is back: right-click a file in the detail panel to set Skip / Low / Normal / High. Rename an individual file inside a torrent (double-click or the file menu), separate from renaming the torrent. Remove a tracker from a torrent (the ✕ on a tracker row); adding was already there. Smart Paste on Ctrl+V — paste a magnet, a 40-char info-hash, or a .torrent URL straight from the clipboard and it's added immediately (text fields still paste text normally). Covers & titles Anime fansub naming ([Group] Title - NN) now resolves to the right show. Audio channel layouts in titles (DDP5.1, 7.1, …) are stripped so they don't pollute cover matching. Under the hood The legacy QWidget interface is gone. QML had been the only UI since 3.0.0 (reachable old code lived behind a hidden --legacy flag); with parity confirmed, the entire QWidget layer — main window, every dialog, the theme manager — was removed (~13,400 lines). The four restored actions above were features that backend already supported but the QML port had never wired. macOS: the WebUI password hash moved out of the keychain into app settings, so launching the app no longer pops a login-keychain password prompt on unsigned builds. The actual password still lives in the keychain. Cleanup: ~400 orphaned translation strings and a batch of dead code removed; internal duplication collapsed; an ARCHITECTURE.md added for contributors. Unit / security / memory tests and the ASan/UBSan/TSan sanitizers stay green.
