I think Nolan will cut out scenes to make the Joker less "horrific" in honor of Heath.

I hope Nolan dont do something as stupid as that. And still, knowing Nolan, he is a perfectionist so he will not do anything like that.

What did Jack Nicholson meant by "I warned him"?

Apparently in the past, Jack Nicholson has spoken against the drug that Heath allegedly took (Ambien)

He also, wasn't referring _directly_ to Heath, as he had no clue in the clip I saw here.

He said it like a spokes person would say it to a group of people... 'well I told you so' kind of thing.

BS - totally disrespectful to the role Ledger created, and totally not in Nolan's style of directing - to mess with actors roles in such a way. He wanted a dark Joker - Ledger apparently delivered.

And as for Jack Nicholson - he warned Ledger that the role was AMAZINGLY demanding and can take the actor into a deep place. He also made a comment about the drug being used to aid the sleeping - not about Ledger's use of it.

Word is that Ledger delivered a role that is going to totally own the character. More of a "f*cked up psycho with a weird sense of humour" than a comical character. Nicholson did this to 90's levels, Ledger does it to 00's levels - a Joker for our age.

That said (and I do believe what is being said) - nobody is really going to talk ill of him right now!

The acting of Joker must be very very Involved for him to have trouble sleeping from the role!

Well look at the character its been completely reinvented and it looks really dark and scary so imagine going to work each day putting the make up on and involving yourself with the character and you would over time become the man.

SO AWESOME!!! CAN'T WAIT!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WaIR9dAZRR0 Bale/Ledger Owns!!!

What rock have you been under  . But yea it's awesome.

I remember Jack Nicholson's joker died in the end...

Would be wierd if Heaths also dies in the end. :o

He won't die at the end. I still don't understand why Burton killed him off, stupid if you ask me.. :pinch:

Burton's Batman films continued very small plotlines - but were "one hit" stories. That's why he killed off Joker - audiences at the time expected clear endings.

Don't see how it would be "weird" if he died? Don't read too much into things.

But I doubt he will die - probably be left in Arkham, as the character still has value.

LOL, he get's like this - wetting his pants over whatever 5-minute fad. It's kinda sweet really :)

Yeah I would imagine they wouldn't kill him plus with Harvey Dent in the same film I would see 2face being important in the third.

Why repost the posters but anyway its a shame and wouldn't be surprised if the film is put back.

I said it was a bit Chilling... did you miss that?

Man, but I think I am confident that his acting as Joker will be very very good & praised now! It looks GOOD!!!

    • You can't, if you didn't notice, it doesn't support surround at all, it's right in the spec list.
    • Hi — I’m always interested in soundcards. Like displays, I just want to know I’m getting as much clean “sonic juice” into my brain as possible as the years take their toll. I’m not entirely sure what to take away from this review, though. It doesn’t really tell me whether the AE‑X is a good product or who it’s actually for. Most of what I’m getting is: there’s a driver to install, here’s what it looks like, and here’s what’s in the box. There’s a lot of emphasis on the SPDIF input. When you mention not needing to switch headphones between console and PC — does that mean the PC has to be powered on just to pass audio through? That seems like a fairly big waste of energy. Is this more something a streamer would use alongside a capture card? How are you testing the sound? (Also, you might want to clarify that you’re using the headphones in wired mode when you mention they’re wireless.) You mention the lack of EMI shielding — how much real‑world difference does that make compared with typical motherboard audio? On multi‑channel: what exactly isn’t supported? Does this mean Windows spatial audio (Dolby Atmos for Headphones, DTS Headphone:X, etc.) won’t work, or just that the card itself doesn’t decode surround formats? And are there any true multi‑driver “surround” headphones left that would even use that? You also highlight support for high‑impedance headphones — but what does that translate to in practice? How does it compare to driving the same headphones from a normal device, and does it make any difference for everyday, lower‑impedance models? In short, who is this card actually targeted at?
    • Yes, THIS is wordart, not the styling that can now be done. Wordart was all about those curvy words, that you could change the path of, like making words go around a circle. I don't think it can be done now, right?
    • Just saw a news report of a Waymo driving into a flooded road.
    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays.
