the imax around here is actually a 'national geographic' thing, so no batman.

i will be seeing the midnight show on thursday though :)

My sister is currently working at a newspaper and she has gone to ask if she can get tickets for the premier tonight! If not then I will be going for the late night show on Friday as I will be in school till like 8:00 PM!

After that on Saturday morning, we will be travelling 1 hour just to see The Dark Knight again and this time in IMAX!

OMG... Just came back from watching The Dark Knight and all I can say is... :| (stunned). Ledger's performance is absolutely amazing and the scene where the Batman fights in some kind of tall building using his sonar vision is woah. And Harvey Dent's face as Two-face is absolutely disgusting (IMO ;))

AGREE....... easily best movie this year, heath was very powerful......everything else was also aweeeesome!

though the sonar bit was a bit over top with the gadgetry, i liked two-face wished they'd kept him alive...for the next one..:(

Well. Friends and I saw it last night at imax. What can I say?

AWESOME.

No doubt the best superhero movie ever, but definitely one of the best movies of this year period. Heath deserves an oscar.

Got my tickets for tonight's midnight show. The theater is playing it in six different rooms at once lol.

As of two nights ago four of those rooms were sold out.

I just hope everyone shuts up during the movie!!!!

Guys, was the IMAX version worth it? Like some of the movie was shot with an IMAX camera, so I assume that looked great. But how about the rest on the IMAX screen?

In Montreal, all the IMAX showings on Friday are already sold out except noon. I'm wondering if I should wait till the next day or just see the regular version.

If you can see the IMAX version, by all means do it. It's true that not all the scenes were shot in it, but the ones that were shot in it were just fantastic. You literally feel like you're in the movie--especially with the flyovers around the city. 100% recommend seeing it in IMAX.
