How to post a bug

Courtesy of Neowin Management, we now have an internal bug tracker here in the forums rather than relying on an external bug tracker.

To post a bug, please create a new topic here in the main Shift forum (you will not have permissions to post elsewhere). We will go through and check the forum as often as possible and then move the bug to the relevant place in bug tracking sub forums. We will post updates as we proceed in verifying, or fixing bugs.

When you post a bug, please remember to include:

• A detailed description of the problem, including reproduction steps if possible.
  
• Information on the hardware you're using, or what Virtual Machine
  
• Any specific information. I.E. if you can't mount a partition on your hard drive, what format is it? Is your drive IDE or SATA, etc etc.
  

If your bug appears in the "Needs Feedback" sub forum, please reply including the information we've requested. This will help us track down the bugs and make a better distribution for everybody.
