AutoPatcher XP October 2006

Recommended Posts

I am having problem with Ryans pack, it cant install... (it slipstreams fine) ...,and with the others guys mega driver pack... well in 2 months when i get more time, i will open my personal blog on msfn forum, until i resolve this :D

I tried both seperately.. I dont say those packs are bad, it just might be human issue (me :D )

But i dont have time right now to cope with project of that magnitude.

I am currently negotiating with my cable operator to get 256/512 package, so i can host AP, and contribute in that way, also i will commit myself to make AP localized to Serbian and Croatian, so i will need a lot of help from u guys...

Which one first? :D :D :D

hey guys.

I've been using autopatcher since 2005 something, but everything has been smooth and clear, so haven't had the need to register for the forums...

however, the last time I ran an update (october patch) I noticed a really neat-sounding feature called Virtual Desktop Manager, but I can't find out how that one works.. it's apparently installed correctly and all, but where is it and how do I use it?

I can't find any specific info on the program either...

Help please?

well both :) , but i will need some help regarding testing, cause i dont have Windows install localisation of croatian XP

oh yes, i will just localise AP XP, not win MM.... nor serv MM3

I will try to assemble a team to localise these too.

My negotiating with my ISP is going bad, since they dont have such a packet, and are lazy to make one for me... so i will try to contact headquarters of ISP and try there... :turning on charm: :D

P.S. I am currently buying a new x64 X2 computer, so hold your horses. It will become future server for hosting...

I will upload to mirrors such as crapidshare and some others i found recently, to release a load on my connection, cause i will host as much AP is I can (by that i mean other language version that i get from other ppl making them)

As much as i noticed, the few first days after release are the hardest, so i will talk with guys in Belgrade and Novi Sad, to put AP on their HUB, to make it possible to get it by DC++

Well, I am off to search for components for my comp... (if i could just get my hand on those memories sold at newegg..uff to bad i dont live in USA :(

    • I can name 10x that on why not to switch.... It's funny outlook/office are going towards web app wrappers, and then MS is now preaching native apps again.... ugh can we just pick a lane and stay in it
    • Absolutely NOBODY has suggested such a conclusion. I am affirming the sober reality check that AV2's overall market adoption will take longer than AV1's adoption rate -- which, by the way, is the whole point of the article! While PCI-SIG is productive (on paper), other WGs have created all sorts of confusing progress plans that consumers have tuned-out of their improvements... HTML/W3C, USB, HDMI, BT, WIFI (ieee802.11) as a few other groups where spec naming conventions, split progress paths, overlapping ambitions... I'm not critiquing the AV specs group; I'm simply affirming that adoption for AV2 faces headwinds beyond the macroeconomics of it all.
