List Your Overclocks..

not bad khujo. ;)

thanks, i have the 3.0C but swapped that back out for the Northwood at higher clock speed, i think that would do me right for the time being, SSE3 was only supported by one program i used, though the Prescott definately (intensive tasks) multitasks better then a northwood, intel says its improved HT, i think it has more to do with the cache increase. also the temperature's are back to levels that don't heat the room or feel like i'll burn down the house, even at such overclocked speeds, i think the cpu could go a tiny bit higher but the ram is loosing stabiity with the higher multiplier,.

hi first post :p

i have a amd athlon 2800+ cooled with a coolermaster aero 7+ with 512mb pc3200 ddr400mhz

mobo = msi k7n2 (nforce2)

geforce fx 5600 (256mb ddr)

so what potential have i got? im nt exactly gr8 at this.

Go to this webpage and you'll see a list of OC speeds ppl have attained. Mind you that its just a guide and all procs are not the same so you might get either good or bad OC ... =) good luck

been foolin around with my xpm2400 and got

200x11 @ 1.55volts (prime and 3d stable)

200x12 @ 1.75volts (prime and 3d stable)

225x12 @ 2volts (prime and 3d stable)

235x11 @ 1.95volts (prime and 3d stable)

238x10 @ 1.7volts ( not prime or 3d stable) - (need better memory)

2600XP-M @ 2.5ghz 400FSB, 1.85v, stable as hell (Y)

Plan to put in my two better, noiser, fans and maybe a bios flash, possibly an L12mod, to push 2.6ghz and 2.7ghz. :D

But it's running so sweet now, I'm kinda shy to mess with it. But maybe 2.6ghz with just a fan upgrade? :shifty:

2600XP-M @ 2.7ghz 400FSB. And man is it hot!!!! :pinch:

what kind of cooling you got on that thing?

SP97 with a Quiet 92mm Case fan. Three other Case fans, and a Vantec TMD fan for heat exhaust. Not too mention AS5. Does alright, but unless I get a 120mm fan or water cooling, I'm pushing it's limits.

well for some reason it wont let me edit my last post, so sorry for double posting, but i cranked it up to 3.2v and got 239fsb out of it, @ 11-3-3-2.5 but it would'nt do 240 no matter what, but hell still not bad for corsair value select , lol, also ran sandra on the ram and got 3616/3353

cpuz/sandra 239fsb

    • Since they open sourced the calculator in Win 10/11 it is much better and can do a lot, I love it.
    • That's just silly imo. The lengths that man goes to just to avoid W11 is just nuts. Very, very few home users would do that. I will say this though, he is committed. Btw, I note on askwoody that Woody Leonhard passed away March, 2025 aged 73. His site was one of my favorites back in the day. Belated yes but RIP Woody.
    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.
