no water cooling, she's a air breather, with a swiftech mcx4000 (awesome heatsink!) with a thermaltake smartfan 2.

Well to start i have a sinxp1394 (which is a great overclocker), i have my vcore @ 1.60 which is not high at all, runnin my pc3500 el ddr @ 1:1 ratio with the cpu, have my fsb @ 190, and memory @ 380 2-8-2-2 timings and thats pretty much it, boot and go...and my temps are 36-37 idle 45-46 @ load and 47-48 running prime95.

p4 2.4b's are great overclockers, the b designates that is a 533 (4x133)chip and not a 400 (4x100)

not much here. i did have my xp 2000+ running at 1800mhz, but it was getting a bit too hot so i just dropped it back down to almost factory settings. and my ti4600 is barely overclocked at all... i would overclock if i had any cooling whatsoever in here - i don't even have any thermal paste on my processor, neither do i have any case fans. my cpu runs at around 55 idle, 60-65 load, and the case temp is around 50...

as soon as i get me a job, i'll get some cooling and crank her up a bit.

so wat ure trying to tell me is that you've overclocked an [email protected] to 3.4, and taken your fsb to 633 from 533 without water cooling with just a heatsink and a fan????

wats ure mobo? MSI? Soyo?...and what kind of Tower do you have?

Man I overrevved mine to about 9000 boy it didnt like that at all LOL

But any I had an Athlon 750 overclocked to 850 .. stock cooling

Now have an P3 550 to gonna risk overclocking since my athlon died just last summer un expectedly......... sigh..........

Though I working on plans to completely submerger a system and do a complete system overclock... any tips?

yes its a 533 board, actually its running closer to 800fsb, like 759bus to be exact,...no water just an air breather, alot of people understimate the mcx4000 heatsink, and the p4 2.4b, its giving me a 1000 mhz overclock and the great thing about it is it rock stable.

I have a Gigabyte SinXP1394 Dual channel ddr board. i have an enermax CS-3171L-B3A tower (with the rainbow light cathodes on the sides,)

Just finished a new OC'd system:

Tbred-B 1700+ DLT3C JIUHB 0310XPMW

Epox 8rda+

512mb corsair xms3200

vantec aeroflow hsf (with as3)

Got this system running at 2900+ (2.3GHz, 11.5 x 200) on 1.625v rock solid stable.

Everything's in an antec sonata with the case fan on temp controlled and temps are 32C idle / 41C load / 28C case / 20C ambient.

Formerly I was running a P3 500E @ 667.

My system just got its revamp........

30 degrees no load and 36 degrees load

Thermaltake 8cm Smart Fan II cool mod x2

Vantec tornado 80 mm fan (ducted) on a thermalright sk-7 heatsink

bumped her up 5% in volts

added pc3500 ram

kicked her upto 1850

but im not sure about higher

I got a 2400+ @ 2450MHz (175MHz FSB) Rated 3100+

a 1700+ @ 1647MHz (150MHz FSB) Rated 2000+

and my Duron 1GHz @ 1332MHz (133MHz FSB)

I hope to push the 2400 up a little more when I get my new dual channel ram in... right now I am only using Samsung PC2700

    • The level of stupidity at Google and Microsoft is beyond belief. All they are doing by killing this is forcing people to jump over to Firefox and ditch them all together, therefore giving Firefox the market boost it needs to finally crush them all in the end.
