the driver model was locked down. rc2/rtm drivers are going to be the same, and they know that, so they may as well just pass them off as RC2/TRM drivers.

i doubt this is any indication of when/if vista will/has RTM/(d)

Probably aTi just got Vista because they have a Select license... This enables them to test Vista at the moment it's available!

I'm sure they get it before it's on Select. They have to make and test the drivers before they get released to users...including Select ones. I bet MS and hardware vendors work really closely together. Anyways that select link got taken down :(

It's about time...have been waiting ages for these. But now I see that they made them work with both RTM and RC2 so I guess that's why it might have taken longer. I'm just hoping this fixes the issues I was having before.

It is available on the ATi...oops AMD website. Just go to ati.amd.com and choose drivers and software and select vista as the os. You will get the links for both x86 and x64.

For some strange reason, I don't see them on the ATI/AMD website, including what you just linked, all I see is:
