Which Is The Best Defrag Software For Windows Xp

I may have posted an incomplete thread ... what i wanted this thread to have is a REVIEW of all the major DEFRAG software used with XP, Please post ur opinions and comments about the one you like to use and why u like to use.

wouldn't it be nice if file systems didn't fragment? i heard that the new linux filesystems don't fragment. is this true? (don't answer unless you know for a fact) :huh:

Diskeeper 7 for me !

it really rocks ! at least in my case, it speeds up about 30% !!! :laugh:

I've also tried O&O defrag, but it have lots of useless option for newbie!!!

and i didn't see any difference in performance after using O&O (with its diff. methods)

yea one thing more, its very slower then diskeeper !!!

Linux filesystems do fragment. Generally at a slower rate than NTFS/FAT32, though. ext3/reiserfs don't even have a defrag program, if that tells you anything. XFS has one, but it's not in as widespread use as ext3/reiserfs (for the average user anyways).

As for windows - Diskeeper is the best.
