same problem here. just resize the window and it'll go away.

weird bug, hope they fix it for the next build (post-final build?) Also I'd like to see the new WMP icons too that comes with Vista.

ummm WMP11 doesnt have a new icon in vista, its still 64x64 boring old wmp10 icon... its anoyin cus i want it on my desktop but its too small, doesnt fit it, i cant fine a decent one anywhere... ( that is what you meant isnt it? )

(Dane's right.)

For people with the odd white dot, what's your screen resolution?

1280x1024 on a Dell LCD. I am using the hacked uxtheme.dll to use custom themes, but I tried going back to the standard Energy theme that came with Windows Media Center 2005, and I still have the issue. So it is not theme related, unless simply using the hacked uxtheme.dll causes it. But that's assuming there is any correlation.

I see it too with classic menus turned off. Looks like a bug. If it really bothers you, take it to WMP's technical support: since the player is already out, there's not much possibility to do anything about it right now other than if enough people gripe to technical support about it.

If you resize the player, these will go away. If you turn on Classic Menus, it'll go away.
