Last month in October, MSN Hotmail had some changes. New BrightMail technology was installed on the hotmail servers. Now most of the Junk mail is sent directly to your junk mail folder on the left of your Hotmail account. This is all the work of MSN, More useful EVERYDAY. Better With The Butterfly. :D

i NEVER get one piece of spam mail in my Hotmail account!

ha. dont ever talk about anything other than msn with this kid. he will ram it down your throat that msn is 'better with the butterfly'. then he gets all ****ed off and chews you out cuz of your opinion and dont shut up about it. its kinda funny.

but... anyways.

i havent used my hotmail account in a while cuz they want me to pay to "re-activate" it which is pure poop. it was free when i signed up for it and should remain that way unless i started a new hotmail account.

hmm... what plan were you on? I reactivated an old account I hadn't used for about a year and and half a month ago. Didn't have to pay anything to reactivate

Mine has greatly reduced too. It helped even more to put in a custom filter to automatically delete e-mail with words like "mortgage" and "viagra" in the subject.

To do that just go in the options and its there somewhere under custom filter but with a free account I think you can only use 10 filters
