Transgender isn't a third gender, and having it listed as one is kind of offensive. They are men and women just like everyone else. I know it's just a simple and silly poll and people don't mean anything by it, but still. :)

Some of the comments about other people's sexuality really stinks!

It does. It is really depressing - I thought this was a pretty mature forum with enlightened people. On the other hand though, I shouldn't be surprised since going by the location poll, about half the members here are from the U.S. and with how rampant Protestantism is here - especially non catholic variants - it makes sense that some percentage of the members here would be of that type.

(Speaking as an agnostic saved from a childhood mired in a homophobic Baptist hell)

Just thought I'd update this. I can't really remember what I put last time, but after some exploration and experimentation, I can finally say I'm a male who is interested in females. Calling myself "heterosexual" would probably be a step too far, but I am only interested in females and would eventually like a wife and kids

It was a transgendered person who asked for the option and supplied the language/terminology.

Well can't believe there's not more females into technology and stuff... males overwhelmly dominate technology and science related subjects..

I find it sort of weird, I run IRC networks, a couple over the years, we had some female users , like one or two, and the rest, like 100+ males. The girls never left though, being the only female around... hanging out with a bunch of guys, and you know we were all really retarded. One girl was 14 or younger when we started hanging out, now she's like 22. As an adult she gets hit on and messed with a lot , doesn't seem to bother her. Some of the guys are really retarded and explicit though, man o_o

Probably a wise decision. :p

    • IBM are good at announcing stuff, but not at actually delivering it... How many decades ago did they announce quantum computers, and here we are in 2026, with CHINA delivering them, and IBM still talking...
    • It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite a narrative to align this layoff with your political beliefs. Games can be horrible, whatever backwards notions you have don’t change that bungie has problems, mostly with just bad games, and arrogance. When they pushed Microsoft to let them be independent they lost their way. They hired on a bunch of people and they couldn’t justify the employee count consistent with their revenue.
