[Joke] Canadians in Hell

Recommended Posts

lol its not really that cold in toronto

It doesn't imply that they are from Toronto. Ottawa has only been a team since 1992, so the fans could easily be from anywhere in Ontario, including the north. They could also be fans of the ex-Winnipeg Jets, who decided to sway to the Leafs side after the Jets became the Coyotes.

Anyways, Leafs and Habs fans are all over the country being the two most popular teams, so to tie Leafs fans Toronto is slightly incorrect.

Good One !

You'll need to find a similar joke for the Vancouver Canucks the only Canadian NHL Team that has yet to win the Stanley Cup.

Ottawa can be considered one of them as well, considering they only won a cup before they took an 80 year hiatus from the league.

Its DAM IRONIC! since the yanks cant play hockey...money must be the key to success i suppose...:/

Yanks can't play hockey is true, fact is, a lot of the players in the NHL are actually Canadian, but play for American teams. The big players go where the money is, and sadly, the Canadian teams can't compete with the American teams in that way. The changes which happened recently has tried to fix that, so that money isn't as much a factor.

Since we're on the topic of hockey, what other fellow Canadians hate when some down south American team wins, and you know the people that live there could give two ###### about the Stanley Cup? The Canes won last year, did anyone catch the parade? The turn out was like the players' extended family. That **** boils my blood.

Don't even bring up the Tampa vs Calgary series though, I'll go on forever about the infamous goal that SHOULD have been counted...

Yanks can't play hockey is true

Remember that if you are a premiere athlete in Canada, you play hockey. With the exception of Steve Nash. And the exception of Justin Morneau. American athletes have a lot more choices and often choose other sports.

Hmm.. Did you notice that Canada won the MVP triple crown?

2006 NHL MVP Joe Thornton (Canada)

2006 NBA MVP Steve Nash (Canada)

2006 MLB MVP Justin Morneau (Canada)

Woot! Go us.

Don't even bring up the Tampa vs Calgary series though, I'll go on forever about the infamous goal that SHOULD have been counted...

Gelinas scored and St Louis should have been called instead of being allowed to score the Stanley Cup winning goal. Just like Brett Hull should have been called against Buffalo. Since bad things happen in threes I am waiting for the next installment.

WE WERE ROBBED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friggin puck was across the line...omg, now look what you've started!

as for the canadians been good t hockey, yes of course, its a national sport, irish are not big into it, there was one irish NHL player back in the 90's, Burke, he played for St Louis i think.

Its comparible to New Zealand and Rugby, they got a big love of the game + they get to robb the best players from the samoa.

I met a real hot chick from canada a few weeks back, really pretty but as rough as a bears arse...All hockey hockey hockey...one could say a mans dream. :)

For the guy who said "it dosn't mention Toronto" ...

Two guys from Toronto die and wake up in hell.
Not too bad of a joke except for the fact that Toronto doesn't know what cold is.
Your right! Anything over -20C is warm ...anything over 5C is hot ... I hate summers in Southern Ontario . .. always way too muggy, and hot...
im glad u guys like it..i was unsure if i was going to get heckeled....canadians got humor..wooooot!!!1
We have humour ... and good Backbacon / peameal bacon ... oh, and some hot women ...

    • Visual Studio finally gets long-awaited feature that developers will love by Usama Jawad Visual Studio Code is Microsoft's popular, lightweight, open-source code editor, it is actually Visual Studio that is the company's flagship integrated development environment (IDE). Although the IDE already offers a boatload of useful features for developers, Microsoft has finally introduced a long-requested capability that will be loved by many. While developers have already been able to create Git pull requests (PRs) directly within Visual Studio for the past couple of years, it had not been possible to review a PR without switching to the browser, until now. Microsoft revealed in December 2025 that it is working on UX that enables developers to do just that, and fast-forward to June 2026, and Visual Studio finally has native capabilities to open and inspect a PR, discuss feedback, and wrap up the review, all without switching to the browser. This integration works for both GitHub and Azure DevOps (including on-prem). Developers have access to multiple surfaces to open a PR, including Git Repository, Git Changes, and the Git menu in Visual Studio. Once you open a PR, all the important details will be immediately visible to you, from where you can navigate to various levels of granularity and branch states, depending on the reviews that you are engaged in. As you would expect, you also get a diff view that enables you to see code changes inline or side-by-side in a separate panel. You can also review commit-by-commit. Additionally, this UX fosters collaboration as you can leave comments, reply to threads, and resolve conversations easily. Naturally, you can also leverage Copilot to apply a code suggestion to fix a potential issue. When you are done, you have the ability to approve, complete, and merge the PR. This is a pretty major feature as it has been requested heavily for the past few years. You can try it out in Visual Studio 2026 version 18.7, made available here recently. Microsoft plans to enhance this experience further in future releases with comment filtering, a timeline of PR activity, and more.

    • Around 68% of developers are now using AI to generate code during development, and some experts are saying that a single developer using AI tools can now do the work of an entire team of 4 to 5 engineers.  According to Figma's State of the Designer 2026 report, 72% of designers now use generative AI in their workflows and 91% say it improves the quality of their work, not just their speed.  But does this mean web developers and designers are becoming less relevant, or are they simply evolving into a different kind of role? Would love to hear from developers and designers here has AI made your job easier, or do you feel threatened by how fast these tools are improving
