eth3l Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 I have a mjor problem with XP: In my event viewer, there are VSS (VOlume Shadow Copy Service) and COM+ errors occurring about every hour. I have tried to consult MS help on this, and well I guess you know how that went. I tried to disable the VSS service and that did nothing. macrosslover Posted November 26, 2002 Share Posted November 26, 2002 unless your computer is crashing because of them don't waste your time worrying about them. i purposely disabled my COM+ and all the related services, and that other service you need under "services.msc".......check to see if yours are disabled. if you have everything that is associated with those services running then you shouldn't get errors. but since i don't need those services, i disable them and have no problems what so ever.
