Which Camera under $250 has best image quality

there are only a few in that price range, but any SDXXX model will probably suit your needs. My girlfriend has a SD700, and loves it, got it on sale for $299 cnd

i saw the samples of a powershots especially at night but they dont seem as impressive as the fujifilm F20/F30

does the powershots have a similiar night performance as this one

i would say the canon can take just as nice pictures at night.. here is a pic i took with my A540.
