Ok so I watched the vid at the end the got the page http://www.vanishingpointgame.com/on_the_run that flashed across the sceen really fast.

The last two lines on the page are boggling me:

"When the time is right, I?ll ask you a question. For now, follow this trail to get the word it leads to." (Sounds like a riddle, think it has to do with the odpathi> of "on_the_run")

And then "Contact Me." at the bottom of the page.

So i send an email to [email protected] and get back:

[indenfrom [email protected] <[email protected]> 9:01 pm (1 hour ago)

Then I sent an email to [email protected] and got back:

[indenfrom Loki . (Confidential) <[email protected]> 10:20 pm (30 minutes ago)

Hmmm. Not quite what I had in mind. Try harder - then listen closely.

I think the intent is either a sound file to find or a phone number to call, but I am stumped (and a bit foggy eyed at this poin:wacko:o: ) and must go get rest. I thought I'd at least throw this out there....

[email protected] - i shot an email that way, no reply ... i wonder if v has something to do with this... and why would it be confidential...

I am thinking that you use these pictures in conjunction with the hidden pictures in the other 36 puzzles that we don't have access to yet, and that they may lead to the answer of some even tougher riddle

I saw that unfiction started an email referral thread ... maybe we should start one too; this will allow all of neowin to get those 200 extra points. Because if 1 person signs up then another and so on and so forth so my email is 007ate007(AT)gmail.com if any1 is signing up and wants to refer please do.

the refferals are garbage to try to get, because for signing up that persom gets 20 points, you get 10...that actually LOWERS you odds of winning this thing hehe :p

I am trying to organise a live web feed of this Sundays Sydney event, not sure that it will be as good as the last one but if i can get the connection organised I will give everyone on neowin the details to watch, that way we can be the first community the have the info :p If anyone is Sydney is coming please PM me, and if anyone in Sydney has a wireless internet connection definetly PM me. I have one server I can use for the feed, if anyone else has one they want to donate for the day, PM me.

Also express your interest, should i bother with this, is it worth while etc...

Cheers.

its definitely worth it

OK, so I've been thinking about Loki's last message, the one you get when you e-mail her at Microsoft.

"Hmmm, not what I had in mind. Try harder -- then listen."

I just had a brainstorm. Try harder. What do you do when you can't get a hold of someone by e-mail, but you need to contact them? You CALL them. OK, so where do we call? Rather than calling random numbers ... we know where she works already. I called Microsoft. When the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) asked me to say the name of the person I wanted to speak to, I said ...

Loki.

The system didn't understand. So I said it again. And again. Then my wife walks in. "Why on earth do you keep saying that?"

Still, I think this is the right track. OK, so the IVR doesn't recognize "Loki". So I figure, we either need her extension number, or we need to find her real name.

Thoughts?

Edit: Oh, and I thought of using either 31415 and 31416 as her Extension number, too, but to no avail. I wonder what would happen if I call in the morning, speak to an operator, and say ...

"I know this sounds crazy, but if I were to ask you to connect me to ... Loki ... could you do that?"

Eh, what was that 4 digit pin from the beginning? most corporates use 3, 4 or 5 pin numbers as extensions....

hmm any ideas where they got the number from?

It might be important so here is what the message says:

Male Voice: venus

Female Voice: 4, 2, 1, 7

BEEP

Male Voice: vru

Female Voice: 8, 2

BEEP

Male Voice: quart

Female Voice: 4, 2

The numbers are wrong! (taken from lost)

    • OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT memory by Pradeep Viswanathan OpenAI is rolling out a major upgrade to ChatGPT's memory, making the system more capable, current, and scalable across long-term use. Memory allows ChatGPT to remember useful details about users, including their preferences, projects, and constraints. Instead of starting every conversation from scratch, ChatGPT can use this context to provide more relevant responses in future chats. OpenAI first launched saved memories in February 2024. That feature allowed users to explicitly ask ChatGPT to save information into its memory, such as travel plans or writing preferences. However, this system had limits because it depended heavily on users giving clear instructions to remember something. Additionally, saved memories could become stale over time. In April 2025, OpenAI expanded memory by allowing ChatGPT to reference past chat context outside the saved memories list. This was powered by a background process called “dreaming,” which automatically curates memories from chat history. This made ChatGPT better at learning from natural conversation without requiring users to manually save every detail. Today, OpenAI announced a more capable and compute-efficient memory architecture built on top of dreaming. This new system improves ChatGPT’s ability to carry forward useful context, follow user preferences, and remain accurate as time passes. According to OpenAI’s internal evaluations, the new system improves factual recall from 67.9% in 2025 to 82.8% in 2026. Preference adherence improves from 55.3% to 71.3%, while accuracy over time improves from 52.2% to 75.1%. The best part of this new system is a new memory summary page where users can review ChatGPT's memories. Users can even update details, correct information, or give instructions on what topics ChatGPT should bring up and when. This new, improved memory system is available to ChatGPT Plus and Pro users in the US starting today. It will roll out to more countries, as well as Free and Go users, in the coming weeks.
    • I work for a video production company in Australia. The camera operators shoot footage and then pass the SD card over to the editors. Much easier than handing over the entire camera. Plus, on a busy day you can hand off the SD card and then pop another in for the next shoot. Or, you might have used multiple SD cards because you need the extra space for a long shoot. I also use USB cables and wifi for transferring footage, but in many cases an SD card reader is the easiest method.
