Acronis True Image is awesome, but I really do like the new Windows Backup app in Windows Vista. If you need something that doesn't have a lot of features, but is still pretty powerful, and you don't want to spend a lot of money, I'd recommend Windows Backup if you have Windows Vista.

My friend introduced me to Acronis True Image Home Edition and it saved my system several times. It would have been a godsend for me during the other several hundreds of times over the past few years when I wasn't as experienced nor knowledgeable as I am now. that's life, though. Just a note about DeltaCopy, not saying it's a challenger to the best, but of interest.

DeltaCopy is a "Windows Friendly" wrapper around the Rsync program, currently maintained by Wayne Davison. "rsync" is primarily designed for Unix/Linux/BSD systems.
