How do you figure?

because both cable and sat have to be compressed in order to transmit through the network... OTA does not have to be compressed in anyway... Direct TV is the biggest offender

Direct TV is the biggest offender

DirecTV (not Direct TV!) does not rape the MPEG4 locals like they do the MPEG2 HD channels. The difference between OTA and the MPEG4 locals is quite minimal. I can only notice a difference if I'm very close to the screen, and actively looking for it. If I'm at a normal viewing distance and just watching TV, there is no difference at all.
