asdfoi83wyrl
Requires IE6+ with JavaScript enabled. Man, when I clicked the link to view this thread, I thought I was going to be able to get Vista Business for free. Not exactly, I guess. NoneAvail
The Vista Demos load very slow... Best time to play is off-peak hours. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/527840-windows-vista-business-test-drive/#findComment-588201973 Share on other sites
brand
Reminds me of FlyakiteOSX's web page a bit. Except Flyakite's page is quite a bit more of a true OS experience. Well... at least they did it. 8nfinity
Neat thing, but it's too slow. I click on something and it takes like over a minute just to load it up. If only it were a bit faster... i'd spend more time testing it then. LOC Veteran Posted January 7, 2007 Veteran Share Posted January 7, 2007 Hmmm, looks like an official site, but you can never tell these days. Anyone playa round with it, no problems to report? Microsoft or some other 3rd party isn't going to see my pr0n collection are they? BajiRav
Why does it has Media Center in the start menu ? and it actually launches it. I thought it was only in HomePrem & Ulti  Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/527840-windows-vista-business-test-drive/#findComment-588202064 Share on other sites
Code.Red
Pretty cool, too bad there's no internet. ^ If you check winver it's actually Ultimate.. 8nfinity
Ok this is weird. I decided to toy around with it further and clicked switch users... then all of a sudden it gives me a white screen of death and says "DRT turning off". Then when I move my mouse around the virtual screen thing it shows my cursor as a little box and the artificial pointer slowly follows it with a 1 second gap. Looks like they're running it on some virtual homebrew machine (i.e. the same machine that came up when I test clicked the system properties, some AMD Opteron with 1 gig ram). trek
I tried the lab for the previous versions 'test drive' and after I deleted the contents of the Word file as it suggests, "no previous versions" were found :( Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/527840-windows-vista-business-test-drive/#findComment-588202465 Share on other sites

I am Reid
I tried to setup the tv tunner in media center, but it said it dosnt have a tunner. I think this is just a remote desktop connection to a secure pc, or something like that. Im sure I can find a way to get around this and login under another account name. Code.Red
After looking at the Device Manager, I was under the impression that it was just using emulation software like VMWare. And you can login to the different accounts, they are there for a reason (testing out parental controls). If there's a password, try "password". :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/527840-windows-vista-business-test-drive/#findComment-588227925 Share on other sites

Code.Red
Outlook 2007 is installed on there, you can import it and see. It's all fake emails and stuff. There's also a bunch of demo programs and stuff in the C:/DEMOS folder, but not too interesting.
