Hey, srn, is it okay if I er...upload a mod of this somewhere. I usually store all my crap on dA but since they took off the Gallery Storage feature I've been putting all my stuff in scraps (at least that way people can grab it if they want it even though it's all junk). I just changed the start button and added a bit more of gradient to the taskbar and made the inactive windows a little bit more distinguishable. Oh, and I added a nice little blue thingy to the start menu. That's really it :p.

it's ok

YAY!

Er...here is the screenie of hat I did:

Will that resize? It's pretty darn big!

So...I'll upload it into scraps on DA later. This way, when I lose all my data for doing something stupid I can just download this and be happy :) Now to see if Trillian will let me skin it properly. It already messed up my previous attempt.

sooperdoode: looks great, link please!? :D

only suggestion i can make is to make the taskbar a tiny bit darker, hurts my eyes. not a critisism, just my opinion :)

Er...thanks! I might have added a bit too much gradient on the taskbar . It's still not THAT different from the original :p. I'll be adding all the different styles with mods by me sometime in the coming week. Here is the link for the Gradient Compact version:

Remember, it's just a mod by me so it doesn't HAVE to be used and if you like somethings from my mod but still prefer the original you can always extract whatever I did and put them in the original Gilouche style. That made no sense. I'm stopping now.

Just an FYI, I've finished the first version of my Gilouche Trillian skin. It's impossible to skin gradients in Trillian so it's just the flat color. All credit goes to SRN of course. I just took the images and put them in the right place ;)

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
    • eh I'll wait for the June 2026 MVS ISO downloads which should be coming out next Tuesday June 16 and possibly contain build 8655 instead of 8653
