I am having a problem with the "Posters" white box. I click it and it goes away...but it doesnt get counted. So I bring that puzzle back and its there again. How can I get it counted for good?

Don't worry. Many other people are reporting the same problem. Just keep trying and eventually it will go through. Try clearing cache.

Ya i can split mine why?

I haven't seen this anywhere else...I was trying a couple of different ideas and landed on this.

Loki is right in front of you - split your monitor and find her there.

There is an image that is obviously another clue. The domain was registered on Jan. 03.

We discussed this site during puzzle box 1. It is believed to be out of game.

Oh nice work then. What does it mean to split the monitor?

Working on that, but also on the image itself... My initial hunch is that this page pertains to one of the 2 unlocked boxes, but that's just a hunch.

I'm not sure if this page was meant to be discovered at this point, but it was a nice find after the hours I've put into this.

EDIT AND This is weird the things in the corner every puzzle has it but 1 any ideas?

The symbols indicate which sky writing clue corrosponds to which puzzle. The single ones have a picture of the country/state and the multiple ones have the symbol of the puzzle right before the clue.

this may just be a crazy coincidence, the boxes they used in the top corner of the puzzles are almost the exact same boxes from a Myst game. The puzzles they have been giving us remind me of Myst, you get clues in the world and use them to solve puzzles. I wonder if the boxes they showed us have any significance if we decode them using the values of the boxes from the Myst game. Each box stood for a number, I think.

Just rambing now.. it's really cool to see what changes 42 and the producers of the game make to the game as we progress it along. The train swapped for the girl in postcards is interesting. weather. lol. Little nuances. Cool stuff Neowin!

I'm thinking it's not part of the game. vanishingpointgame.com was registered with godaddy, but lokivanishes.com was registered with 1and1

The site doesn't have the same graphics as the real site. Of course it's not part (unless that's a carefully planned clue...)

The symbols do look sort of like the Riven numbers from Myst. They also make some symbols, this has been proven. However, a double meaning can never be ruled out. Remember, in Riven, the number 5 had significance. Maybe the developers of this game had a liking of Myst, maybe Rand miller even worked on the team, he seems like the sort of person who could contribute to the team, Myst is a lot like this game, a lot of hidden clues (for those who haven't played the game, although I'd recommend you do).

Then again, I'm sure this has no meaning in the game.

It's interesting to equate Myst with an alternate reality game. Vanishing Point isn't the first of it's kind but it's a signifigant new realm of entertainment like Myst was for the time it was released. At Vanishing Point's conclusion I think we will have been a part of one of the more well executed ARGs to date. Like Myst on bandwidth. :D

My eye keeps noticing an area of the crystal ball with Loki. Don't know if it's relevant. Looks like something fits in there?

try putting the image through different color band eliminators.

vischeck dot com ( i think is the correct site ) has a way of showing images as if you were colorblind.

may be useful.

"You have sawed a lady in half" most likely refers to solving half the problems. She has stated that when the problems have all been solved, she will vanish. Therefore, she is halfway gone.

    • The current Statcoungter desktop numbers has Google Chrome increasing it's market share this past year and currently commanding 75% share. Everybody else is just making up the numbers with even MS Edge losing 3% this past year and has dipped just below 10% share which is staggering considering it's default on every Windows deviced purchased. If these numbers are correct that terrible Edge number is both devastating and embarrassing for MS especially when you add in the terribly low Bing market share. This leads me to ask a couple of questions as the default browser holding just less than 10% market share seems really weird. It used to be that all Chromium browsers were being counted as Google Chrome in some cases.  Is this still happening? Do these high Google Chrome numbers contains some Edge user numbers?
    • Yeah, all web browsers seem to have some junk in them these days. The regular Brave browser has a lot of unnecessary stuff in it, similar to Microsoft Edge, so I don't see any benefits of using Brave over Microsoft Edge if you already have Microsoft Edge fully set up with ad blockers and that. The cleanest or best free browser outside of 'Microsoft Edge' I’ve tried so far is 'Samsung Browser'. It has very little bloat and is a nice-looking web browser with an inbuilt 'Ad blocker'. I also really like the web browser called 'Floorp' that is based on Firefox. This browser can also install Chrome extensions. I have a system wide Ad blocking program for Windows 11 that doesn't just blocks ads in the web browser, but over the whole system. I don't really need a web browser with an inbuilt ad blocker because of that.
