If I use what we have we will have what is below. Anyone good at Wheel Of Fortune?

_ _ N _ S E _ _ P _ _ _ E _ P _ _

Or this could be completely bogus...

There are 17 songs. This could mean there are 17 letters in the answer. Each sonf may be aclue to the corresponding letter in the answer. Or, like one post. Song 3 is Beethoven. He was born in Bonn. It starts with B. The third letter in the 17 letter answer is b.....
TOMB has to do with http://goodfelloweb.com/giza/images/vanishingpoint_pic2.jpg

However, I can't seem to decipher what needs to be in the quiz persay.

I tried looking up hieroglyphics, but didn't find anything like what is on the entrance screen of TOMB.

Been covered. They're not hieroglyphics.. They're yo yo tricks.

Nope, it's just because your login status has failed. Re-login to Vanishing Point and you'll see it doesn't work.

Good attempt anyway! :)

I know, that it is not correct. However, I think that there is a difference between completely wrong (input field shaking) and this 'other' message. I got a similar reaction before with another riddle as I tried to input a keyword which was related to the solution.

What are some dance contests out there? Isn't there a reality show right now that has dancing?

THE letter sequence is " c s t n e t o" ...WHICH we need to figure out...seems there's only one word to phrase that.."CONTEST"....but ...contest WHAT????????????

ACCORDING to the clue boxes "upper left"...to reflect on the pictures to be posted. So we need to wait. Thus far its CONTEST

for the dancer...its FLIP...weneed to wait for the new image clue

Doesn't really fit with the image in the puzzle, pretty sure that's a tap on the top of the puzzle image which would suggest a water pump of some description though...

Well that's enough for me tonight, gonna sleep on it and wait to see the other clues in the morning.. good luck in the mean time everyone :)

I noticed this two during week 2 and found that I had lost my session state. This would mean that you need to re LOGIN. Afterwards all should work correctly again.

Hope this helps

I just started having the "OTHER" problem too and re-logging in doesn't seem to help. I've tried logging in w/ "Remember me" and w/o "Remember me" but both ways don't fix it.

The hydraulic ram IS a water pump. Look it up on wikipedia...

I didn't say it wasn't!?

I was simply saying that although the invention we are looking for does seem to be a water pump that particular one (on the site linked to) doesn't look anything like the one in the puzzle.

Anyway.. wife wanting me to join her upstairs so i am signing off for the night, good luck all :)

    • Zen Browser 1.20.2b by Razvan Serea Zen Browser is a privacy-focused, open-source web browser built on Mozilla Firefox, offering users a secure and customizable browsing experience. It emphasizes privacy by blocking trackers, ads, and ensuring your data isn't collected. With Zen Mods, users can enhance their browser experience with various customization options, including features like split views and vertical tabs. The browser is designed for efficiency, providing fast browsing speeds and a lightweight interface. Zen Browser prioritizes user control over the browsing experience, offering a minimal yet powerful alternative to traditional web browsers while keeping your online activity private. Zen Browser’s DRM limitation Zen Browser currently lacks support for DRM-protected content, meaning streaming services like Netflix and HBO Max are inaccessible. This is due to the absence of a Widevine license, which requires significant costs and is financially unfeasible for the developer. Additionally, applying for this license would require Zen to be part of a larger company, similar to Mozilla or Brave. Therefore, DRM-protected media won't be supported in Zen Browser for the foreseeable future. Zen Browser offers features that improve user experience, privacy, and customization: Privacy-Focused: Blocks trackers and minimizes data collection. Automatic Updates: Keeps the browser updated with security patches. Zen Mods: Customizable themes and layouts. Workspaces: Organize tabs into different workspaces. Compact Mode: Maximizes screen space by minimizing UI elements. Zen Glance: Quick website previews. Split Views: View multiple tabs in the same window. Sidebar: Access bookmarks and tools quickly. Vertical Tabs: Manage tabs vertically. Container Tabs: Separate browsing sessions. Fast Profile Switcher: Switch between profiles easily. Tab Folders: Organize tabs into folders. Customizable UI: Personalize browser interface. Security Features: Inherits Firefox’s robust security. Fast Performance: Lightweight and optimized for speed. Zen Mods Customization: Deep customization with mods. Quick Access: Easy access to favorite websites. Open Source: Built on Mozilla Firefox with community collaboration. Community-Driven: Active development and feedback from users. GitHub Repository: Contribute and review the source code. Zen Browser 1.20.2b changelog: Security Mozilla Security Advisory 2026-54 New Features Updated to Firefox 151.0.3 Boosts now support a dark mode UI based on your system dark mode setting. • Looks the same as the Air, actually. Check it out in person.
    • "This transition will take several years so we shouldn't bother doing it at all" is a naive take. This is completely normal for all specifications that cross-cut software, hardware and multiple industries. Look at the PCI specification for another example, consumers barely have PCI-E 5 yet PCI-SIG is working on PCI-E 8. AV2 will take multiple years to get adoption and even then, even a decade from now people will still have older hardware that doesn't support it. That's fine, because the savings still add up as newer devices add the hardware to deal with it. The goal is never to get 100% on the new spec overnight, but to gradually adopt it.
    • Firefox, and Vivaldi for the rare instances I need a Chrome based browser for a particular site.
