yeah, colored money would be nice. I visited canada a few months ago and i love their money system. What the US really needs to do is get rid of the damn pennies!!! maybe even make the smallest denomination quarters. ;)

i think they started doing that at mcdonalds.. theres no 99 cent menu anymore.. its just a straight dollar... gotta start somewhere! :D

I heard that they aren't changing it due to looks alone, but also that some people figured out how to easily copy the new 20s, and that there's starting to be a lot of fakes in circulation. The color is going to be mostly an addition to new security measures.

if you happened to come across a fake and you didnt realize it.. and you went to spend it, but they found out its fake.. is there anything you do to exchange it for real money? or, are you just stuck with nothing?

arghh...we can't change the green color. We'd lose all those cool green metaphors and catchy phrases.

Anywho, I think it's good as it is. No reason to change really, and I still like my dollar bill (I don't want to carry around piles of dollar coins...it's pointless). Plus, try putting American money through the washer, nothings going to happen to it...it's cotton! It'll just be clean.

I could see dropping the penny though, current prices make it more or less useless
