Puzzle Box 4

Recommended Posts

I can't figure out how up/down were solved from the videos. I went through all of them, and this is what I got (including when she touches her glasses or makes a comment about a direction):

Pregame video

Left

"Right"

Video 1

Right

"after all, you've earned it, RIGHT"

Video 2

Left

"Shows UP for office hours"

Video 3

Right

"only 12 puzzles LEFT"

Video 4

Left

"one more riddle LEFT"

Am I missing something? :s

From the very first video (hear the challenge), the event at Belagio, and the others, we noticed that at the same time

she lower her glasses she says RIGHT, UP, LEFT or DOWN. In "The Enigma" thread on the first summary msg you

can find a link to a video that Apogee put together from the first few videos.

Camera trick. She's an actress that's been on some soap operas and was recently in Memoirs of a Geisha. (I don't remember her name off the top of my head, I know it's been mentioned in a previous thread.)

Minae Noji go to this thread for more info -> https://www.neowin.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=533310

Thanks!

In that case I must be asleep.. I have 8 left/right directions (enough for the riddle), and only heard one reference to "UP" in the 8 videos :s

Edit: They are:

Pregame video: L

Clue 1: L

Video 1: R

Video 2: L

Video 3: R

Clue 4: L

Video 4: L

4 Lokis: R

OK lets see if we can get in sync here, the videos and directions are:

Hear the challenge -> RIGHT

Belagio Event -> UP

Time (Box1) -> RIGHT

Magic (Box2)-> DOWN

Eras (Box3) -> LEFT

Seattle Event -> DOWN

Vanishing (Box4) -> LEFT

Loki_V (4 Lokis) -> DOWN

Are we there yet ?

Cheers

Thanks everyone - I just looked at the videos again and got that sequence :p

are we disregarding the answer box "Left" in the paragraph? Sorry if this has been mentioned.

It's actually right not left, but since they only give 8 distances, we only need 8 directions.

I've been behind and am trying to be all caught up so I hope this hasn't been mentioned and dismissed yet.

I know some people have been talking about how the 4 LOKIs have something different in each of their hands. I noticed this too but the fourth LOKI isn't empty handed quite so much. She's holding the sash on her shirt in her hand and kinda flings it when she walks on set.

Then I noticed each LOKI's sash placement was different. The first two have it on their left, the third one is in the back and the last one is on the right.

It's just been been bugging me wondering if it means anything, "everything means something" supposedly and I thought it weird that she didn't have a file in her hand or something to signify the fourth set of puzzles.

I mean in the paragraph to enter the answer (/lokiv/, it says, "I only have one challenge left for you..." but true 8 numbers

There are couple of details we noticed on the videos that were mind boggling.

Not counting the video at the hotel (Hear the challenge) where she wears a bracelet, and the objetcs she

holds on her hands and the fact that on each video she is sitting in a different chair, in one of the videos she

is wearing a necklace with what seems to be a pearl pendant (ohh men if we spent hours theorizing about the

damn pearl thingy), you also can notice that while "each Loki" is wearing the same blouse the cleavage is

different, the last Loki is all bottoned up.

I think the idea was to infer that each one of them was sort of a different person, and we spent a lot of

time discussing that there was a big chance that they were twins, but I believe we never imagined four !!!

Cheers

Yes! I did notice that. it must be something.. just havent figured it out yet

Then she is the one that is a "he" in disguise !!!

I'm done for the day and tired of crunching coordinates, I'm still not convinced about the last riddle, I put together

an excel file with all the displacements in miles converted to degrees and started playing with some potential

starting points. From gasworks I end somewhere in Wisconsin. And still the TANLI clue is out there ....

Will see what happens tomorrow

Nite nite folks

Cheers

so what if loki is not a person but a thing, some one mentioned a while back that odesse what a amd chip what if this all ties together like loralie being a main board and well you know what i am talking about i just thought i would throw that out there.

also if look loki#4 touches her glasses right at the beging when loki#2 says "Abracadabra" she also has her shirt all the way buttond and the rest do not? and if you look they all have there shirts tied a little differnt. like off to the righ and left and behind or down.

also one more thing all of them seem to move there feet ether up or down of left or right. well that is it for now.

my .04 cents or would that be .06?

just to confirm in sequence of the left right up down stuff...

1: 'hear the challenge' - 28sec "RIGHT"

2: 'bellagata gardens' - 34sec "UP"

3: 'loki time' - 23sec "RIGHT"

4. 'magicweb' - 3sec "DOWN"

5. 'loki eras' - 3sec "LEFT"

6. 'seattle' - 1min, 15sec "DOWN"

7. 'loki final' - 40sec "LEFT"

8. 'loki v4' - 58sec "DOWN"

so there you have it, in order...

reduced is

1582.89 east

304.48 south

>>That short cut does not work on a globe.

You're right... but since she said up down left and right... instead of north south east and west... it would seem that this kind of simplified cartography would be accurate for what the game designer intended... Occam baby! :)

    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. Lastly, the Redline Racing Bundle is touting games like Art of Rally, Descenders, Mudrunner, and Assetto Corsa Competizione with a $10 price tag.
