Windows Photo Gallery Yellow!

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

when i open images in Windows Photo Gallery i see the picture with an oversaturation of yellow color.

If i see them in preview in the folder or in icon i do not have any prob, but any kind of image type (gif, png, jpg, tif...) is displayed in yellow always and only in Windows Photo Gallery.

I have whql drivers for the VIA chipset and for my nvidia 7600 GS graphic card, but the problem was the same with Vista built-in chipset/display drivers and with a CRT monitor.

Videos are not affected by this issue.

My PC:

Windows Vista Ultimate

Core 2 Duo 6400

2 Gb RAM

Motherboard Asus P5VD2-MX

Display adapter: Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS

LCD Display Samsung SyncMaster 205BW

U can look attached images for reference.

Thanks a lot in advance for help

Someone else had this issue. Uninstalling the monitor drivers and letting windows redetect the monitor solved it for him.

I also had this problem when in installed the Color Profile for my monitor. Just uninstall the color profile, the default sRGB is allmost allways the best
