No, haha, I mean if someone IMs you on AIM, and your taskbar is flashing. How do you tell if someone IM'd you, if you can't see the flash. I guess sounds would work, or just move over the taskbar frequently. Thanks though.

Miranda's contact list has flashing icons.

When I don't feel like chatting, I just close the miranda contact window and can check my system tray for messages when I feel like it.

I hate how MSN/WLM is so in your face, which is why I love miranda and tbhide! :D
