Sophism Posted March 10, 2007 Share Posted March 10, 2007 So i have just reinstalled xp from vista, and everything ran fine in vista, however after installing xp and then installing my graphics card driver my screen flickers like nuts and has a really slow refresh. If i boot into safe mode and uninstall the driver it runs fine, after i install a driver no matter the version it does it again. I have reseated the card, checked the PCI-E connector and such and its on secure. Card is a 7950 GT KO Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Sophism Posted March 10, 2007 Author Share Posted March 10, 2007 OKay fixed it by deleting the /PAE switch in my boot.ini. I had to use this for it to recognize the 4 gigs of ram.
