[Soccer] Henry: I'll never quit the Emirates

Henry was ruled out for the rest of the season after he aggravated groin and stomach muscle injuries in the Champions League defeat to PSV Eindhoven.

But the Gunners skipper has dismissed those reports and pledged himself to Arsenal for the remainder of his career.

He told The Sun: "People in France and some over here (England) are still saying I am going to leave.

"I am not going to leave. Never. I am staying here for life.

"I have no intention of walking out on this club, whatever the situation is. At no stage this season have I ever thought about leaving. I love the club, I love the fans and I am 100% behind the boss."

The way he is going with injuries he will never actually get another chance to play at the Emirates.

I hope he recovers though and gets back to full fitness, he is one of my favourite players :).

Arsenal should of sold him last season for the ?50,000,000 they were offered.

Season before Vieria acted like a tonk messing around with, 'shall I stay or shall I go' behaviour caused problems in the ranks.

Arsenal saved Henry's career, he was going no-where at Juventus.

Once a striker of his calibre loses that half-a-yard of pace, they start slipping down that slippery slope.

Henry has not been at the races this season, of course the world cup and injuries did not help, however Arsenal need Woodgate, Richards in defence, Barton in midfield and put Walcott as a striker and we need a speedy right and left winger.

I do believe that John terry will be on the transfer list soon and we could get him on a free so he gets a long contract and big money each week.

He wants ?125,000 + per week and a 10 year contract so has been reported.
