Hmm, I grabbed the ISO images for 32-bit and 64-bit - the 32-bit regular installer link doesn't work and the ISOs contain the single exe file installers anyway. The exe on the x64 build has a digital signature whereas the 32 bit build doesn't. Has anyone managed to get the normal 32 bit installer and if so, does it have a digital signature?

I know it's legit since it's straight from MS, I just thought that was a little odd. They both have a build number of 5.2.3790.3959 though.

I don't get this: SP2 (32-bit x86) CD IMAGE = 523.2 MB

I thought its for Windows XP x64 so why would I want anything but: SP2 (64-bit x64) CD IMAGE =475.0 MB ?

That's it, I'm migrating from XP 32-bit to XP 64-bit! (Y)

this SP2 is for Windows Server 2003, not just the x64 edition of Windows XP. The Windows XP x64 edition uses the same code, or to put it another it's a home-friendly version of the server.

EDIT: Above SP2 (64-bit x64) link has just been updated and list cleaned up!!

so wait...is the cd image the full install so I don't have to slipstream myself?

No, the CD image just has the same exe installer on along with another 130MB to 150MB (depending on 32-bit or x64) of crap that you likely don't need. You'll still need to make your own slipstreamed image if you want to go that route.

Very interesting. The links all appear to be "final" versions but Microsoft hasn't yet updated its website to reflect the release. I think I'll wait to see it on their website before downloading.

It's now been updated. :)

darn would be cool to have one with it already integrated from ms.

    • This is needed! Good to see them working on it. My solution up until now at work is to hide all MY folders, showing only the shortcuts, but linking my personal folders to the corresponding Libraries. Having this exposed in the Navigation pane of File Explorer means that I have easy nested access to my stuff, as well as all the shortcuts under the OneDrive folder when needed, often open as I only have about 10 or so linked sources.
