2005 seems to be so radically different from 2003 that even the standard way of getting a freaking database connection and data adapter has gone. Basically, I'm trying to use this access database in a desktop app and so far I've got the data connection set up in the server explorer, but when I try to drag and drop the whole table onto the form (thus automatically setting up a connection and a data adapter, a la .net 2003) it doesn't seem to work.
I also tried looking for a data connection and adapter in the toolbox and to my dismay, I couldn't.
Am I selecting the wrong type of project or something? I'm using your box standard windows form in VB.net.
