Arpit
I have an ASUS CUSL2-C motherboard, which can not support RAM more than 512 MB. I already have 512 MB (2 X 256 MB) with one slot remaining. What would happen if I put an additional stick in there? Would it speed things up more?...and what will be some of the side/main effects of that?...thanks.
Marshalus Veteran Posted November 19, 2001 Veteran Share Posted November 19, 2001 It won't recoginize it because your board will detect it has the 512 in there already. Putting a chip in there would be a waste of money.
