thesyndicate Posted August 11, 2001 Share Posted August 11, 2001 i'm running a dual-boot with win2k, and winxp pro rc1. my xp expired and i would like to uninstall it so i can setup win98. i thought maybe if i format the partition winxp is on, that could work, but then i didn't wanna do anything stupid. also win2k has a os boot screen when i start up, will that still show up after i uninstall xp? any replies will be greatly appreciated. -------------------------------- also onto that, i have a winme "promotional upgrade" cd. i was wondering if i could make a clean install with that.. i'm not really sure. it comes in a blue box and it retailed for about 50 bucks.
