[Cancelled] Sarah Connor Chronicles (Terminator Series)

Recommended Posts

I think that that will be the ending to the season, OR they would find out that John Henry is on their side and not destroy it. Since it did not take T3's story line, this could mean that Conner might have a ally in the future.

You know how I think it will play out?

Sarah will "betray" John, by destroying John Henry, right when John discovers that John Henry is good for the future.

How's that for a shocking final episode?

She is not a T1000, but a T1001.

Also, from the producer, there are 3 factions:

Humans (Loyalty to only humans).

Terminators (Loyalty to only Terminators).

And "Good" Terminators (Loyalty to only themselves)

The so called "good Terminators" have a yet undisclosed agenda and it's not necessarily for the good of mankind or cygorgkind.

Tonights episode was epic on so many levels. They have really turned the heat up and anything is possible. The way things are looking right now is actually brilliant (CAIN AND ABLE).

Yeah thats cool the episode was called "Adam raised a Cain"

What a great episode. I'm astonished how the events turned up.

I feel sorry for Derek, I tought he would last untill the end, but anyway..

And that song at the end, is it something that they had come up with (screenwriters) or I can download it?

The end song is a popular scottish song I think, but obviously not sung by John Henry and Savannah

im suprised they killed him off so quickly, was just like bang, dead, next, dont think the whole event took more then a second

was cold

Yeah that's what I was shocked at but the ending was fitting tho buried at the same graveyard from the beginning as an unknown.

Yeah but then the question remains on what caused this sub-faction to turn good? and who leads them?

This is where John Henry and Savannagh come in. I'm starting to think thats Savannagh role, That she actually turns out to be the leader of that sub-faction who ends up able to control John Henry as she is the only one John Henry protects. Also, that her survival depends on John Henry's survival, which also indicates that he saves her (and protects her).

It would also explain why the (evil) terminator went after Savannagh instead of directly for Weaver.

I really like your theory. I always wondered why they had her as a character in the first place.

That'd be a great/angry finale. We've already seen her disagree with him and do things her way that'd be the ultimate **** you. Weaver's eel is cool too. I noticed it when they first showed it several episodes back but I didn't think about putting 2 and 2 together with how she manages to swim away from the sub. I still haven't watched it yet, don't really care that Derek is dead. His character was played out in Season 1. Rather eager to see it happen now. My stupid dvr didn't record it even though it was scheduled. Good ol Scientific Atlanta, pos software.

Derek's story had run its course but at the same time the way it was done was cold.

I know, they didnt even give him a scene where it was like an emotional "slow motion" death with some depressing shocking music playing while he falls to the ground slowly.

Amazing what slow motion can do. heh.

I have a feeling you are right :( I really like the character of JH. Without him, the show would be boring.

Holy crap, I couldnt believe Dereks death. So cold and so shocking. I really liked Derek. Cant believe they killed him. But I guess it doesnt matter if the series is over. That was a fantastic Episode.

WTF IS WRONG WITH YOU?

use spoiler tags! and thanks to you, you just spoiled Derecks death for me :( I just checked here to see how good the episode was but ffs.. lol..

^ Don't be mad at him, spoilers are for stuff NOT seen yet. Once the show has aired all bets are off. You should know better not to check :D I did, but I wasn't let down. You did kinda see it coming, alone in the house, gun pointing down, and a Terminator with his gun pointed forward walking towards him.

Anyways, I just watched it. Amazing episode. Definitely one of my favorites, even John Henry singing at the end. That character blows me away I really hope they don't kill him off in the finale although all signs seem to point in that direction.

Derek's death was pretty harsh. Didn't even let him die in a fire fight. What annoys me is the Terminator who we can assume is John Henry's brother was able to pick him off so fast, yet miss 3 shots at John's head. I still don't get how he was able to infiltrate John Henry, in Season 1 Cameron was able to get "online" when John took her chip out, I don't see how this other guy could do that unless he's a pawn and there's someone else in charge. From the looks of it, I doubt we'll see Sarah making a comeback in the finale. Her story seems to be finished as far as this season goes. Unless Cameron & John try to go break her out, no strings will get her off the charges she's facing. The bond between John Henry and Savannah pretty much solidifies that Weaver's intentions were good and he's the faction of good Terminators as they both depend on each other. He seems to care more for her than Weaver does.

Judging from the promo for the next episode, it looks like John Henry meets his end. We see John Connor running out of a room in the basement with everything on fire in a big explosion. John Henry spoke about not wanting to die again and downloading your brain before you do so, so it's perfectly logically for him to upload himself thus not requiring his body. If he separates himself completely and becomes purely software. Maybe he is SkyNet, and the future has changed to the point where the machines no longer kill without reason. I keep thinking of the movies where everything will happen one way or another, maybe the creation of John Henry changed all of that? Probably. But then they'll destroy him and **** everyone over again, did someone say season 3?!

Sorry I think I posted too fast for you McK :p

oh calm down  I haven't watched it yet either but knew people wouldn't use spoiler tags because it's already been aired. Lots of people mentioned his death without spoiler tags, sure a little more indirect but they still mentioned it ;)

I loved the way they killed derek. they did a good thing and realised that you don't need to be melodramatic ALL THE TIME. sometimes people can just get shot, didn't it feel a whole lot more real to people? it did to me anyway.

John Henry's "brother" would be a computer like him, not a Terminator.

^ How so? He might as well call Cameron his sister because she's like him, much like his brother is. My understanding is he is just referring to others who contain the same code which they all share. Although the fact that he had to obtain the endoskeleton "blueprints" if you will does point the fact he isn't one himself.

I still want a 3rd Season tho :p

    • Waymo recalls self-driving software after cars enter closed freeway work zones by Paul Hill Waymo, the self-driving car maker owned by Alphabet – the parent company of Google –, has recalled some of its fifth-generation Automated Driving Systems (ADS). It did so after some of its cars drove through closed construction zones. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the affected vehicles were capable of driving through a closed freeway construction zone and continuing to drive at speed. The listing on the NHTSA website says that Waymo is currently developing a solution to fix this issue, but in the meantime, freeway driving is being restricted. Waymo will update its ADS software so that vehicles can detect when they can avoid entering construction zones. According to the Safety Recall Report, on April 20, 2026, Waymo’s Field Safety Committee began meetings reviewing an event from April 11, 2026, and five events from April 19, 2026, where Waymo’s autonomous vehicles didn’t recognize and drove past ramp closure signs into the pre-planned freeway construction zones. This took place in Phoenix, Arizona. Separately, on May 18, 2026, seven Waymo vehicles entered freeway lanes with active construction in the San Francisco Bay Area by driving between cones that were placed to show the lane was closed. On the back of both of these events, Waymo restricted freeway driving until it could address the issue. In June, Waymo’s Safety Board reviewed the issue and additional information related to ADS performances around construction zones; then, as a result, it decided to conduct a recall. This development is not good for Waymo as it adds to a growing list of technical hiccups its cars have experienced. Ultimately, it will lead to more scrutiny from lawmakers around the world who will be more cautious about letting autonomous vehicles on their roads without tighter regulation. For readers in areas where Waymo operates, does this news make you more wary about stepping into one of these vehicles?
    • I'm still on Windows 10 22H2 because I didn't want to deal with all the issues in Windows 11, so I waited almost a week before installing the latest Patch Tuesday update (KB5094127), I went ahead and did it, and it was a huge mistake—ever since then, my File Explorer has seen a performance drop of about 30% when transferring large files... Once again, Microsoft has outdone itself! This update cannot be uninstalled, either through the Control Panel (via Settings) or by accessing Advanced Startup Options. The only possible alternative would be to use system restore points, but I’d have to reinstall all app and driver updates (and there’s no guarantee it would work). Or there’s the “nuclear option” of a in-place repair without losing files or apps, but even then, all my customizations would be lost! Microsoft just can’t help but mess everything up! Way to go, Microsoft! But I still don’t want your c****y Windows 11!
    • Microsoft: Windows 11 could finally solve a major issue across AMD, Nvidia, and Intel GPUs by Sayan Sen While Microsoft has been trying to improve it, Windows 11 is definitely not flawless, as even today some issues are taking a year to publicly acknowledge. However, one area of trouble that may finally see much better results soon is graphics driver crashes. Work on graphics driver timeouts, also called Timeout and Detection Recovery (TDR), is not new as the latest WDDM 3.2 also has specific improvements regarding it. Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM) version 3.2 is supported on Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2. However, with the upcoming version 26H2, TDR crash diagnosis could go to the next level as Microsoft is introducing a new DirectX 12 API feature called "DirectX Dump Files". Similar to how system memory dump files work when a system crashes or freezes or encounters any such major issue, DirectX Dump Files (DDF) will essentially record a snapshot of the GPU execution right at the moment a graphics-related crash or hang or freeze occurs, so that developers can better understand and diagnoze these TDR and timeout detection errors. The dump will be available as a .dxdmp file for analysis and it will be a comprehensive dump file generated with detailed insights about the hardware, drivers, Windows, as well as the affected application. This should be another welcome change in this department. Earlier at GDC 2026, when the technology was first debuted, Microsoft had shared more details regarding it. The company had explained how DDF is designed to gather data from every layer of the graphics stack into a single file, eliminating the need for developers to manually correlate logs from multiple tools. As mentioned above, the dump can contain a lot of useful details like GPU hardware state information such as register values, shader program counters, page fault virtual addresses, shader memory data, and command buffers. Alongside that, it also captures DirectX runtime and kernel information, including D3D objects, pipeline state objects, device error data, adapter details, and CPU call stacks. Microsoft says the feature has been built around two primary use cases: retail device removals and local device removals. The former allows developers to collect crash information from end users' systems in the field, while the latter helps QA teams and developers investigate issues on test machines. Developers will also be able to include up to 2 MB of custom application data through new D3D12 APIs, providing additional context for troubleshooting. In addition, Microsoft is introducing three dump collection modes ranging from zero-overhead capture, which has no runtime performance impact on supported hardware, to higher-detail modes that collect more vendor-specific debugging data. On compatible Tier 2 hardware, zero-overhead dumps will be enabled by default, meaning developers may begin receiving useful crash diagnostics without making any code changes. The table below explains the three tiers: Tier Description NO_OVERHEAD Enables crash capture with no runtime cost and is suitable for broad deployment MEDIUM_OVERHEAD Provides a balance, capturing additional diagnostic data with moderate impact HIGH_OVERHEAD Collects the most detailed GPU and driver state available, enabling deeper investigation at the cost of higher runtime overhead In terms of availability, the company expects broader release to be around the fall of 2026, which should be right around the time when Windows 11 version 26H2 lands. Right now, DirectX Dump Files are available as a preview and currently, only AMD has the compatible AgilitySDK Developer Preview driver version 26.10.07.02. You can find the official announcement post here on Microsoft's website.
