By the way, when you have some free time please join CAD skin forum:

It'll be really great to have your skin(*) there!! :)

Will defiantly join your forums soon (Y)

I was also wonder if it would be possible to, when using the "center" option for a text line be some able to adjust the margins. For example If I have the text to be centered underneath my case.png, but I also have my skin at the edge of the screen, the text will trail off the screen. Is there a way i can set a margin so the text, when long, won't trail off screen, but still be centered when the text is short?

if that makes sense...

I don't think the text area width can set the way I want it, it's hard to explain so I made some example images to show you:

I like to have CAD in the bottom right corner of my screen. So if I center the text underneath the case, it looks great, but if the song title is too long it trails off the screen:

It would be cool if you could make it like this; the red lines representing the margins, so I could adjust the center margin while still keeping the text on screen if the name is too long.

lol, I think I am a bit fussy with this. But if I set it to right alignment, then it won't center when the name is short.

Here's a right alignment example:

Here's what I am trying to do:

marginsoe8.th.png

Basically I want to center the text, but have a margin on the right so that it won't go off screen with bigger names, but yet will be centered with short names.

@ freedom77

Sorry but that kind of dynamic alignment is not possible yet.

@ thailer

500x500? It sounds like a skin request! :)

In July(*) visit CAD skins forum and make a request. I'm sure you'll get what you want. ;)

(*) bandwidth exceeded in June

@ Jase

Right now I can't afford more bandwidth tho I spend the few donations CAD gets to pay the hoster.

But in July everything should work fine.

:)

    • It won't perform hugely better than the 3080 unless you're VRAM limited in games. Have you tried putting new thermal pads on them 3080 and giving it a good clean to see if you can regain your temps and overclock?
    • Windows 95 offered the ability to add and edit the right click menus, on a per file type basis. This feature seems to be missing in the new file explorer. Are they bringing it back as a "new" feature?
    • It's nearly time to replace my aging Founders Edition 3080, it doesn't OC as nicely as it used to and it's running around 10c warmer than it did when I first bought it.  I don't have budget for much more than what I spent on the 3080 and locally, that means the best GPU I can manage is a 9070XT. On this basis I have a few questions: 1. At present I don't use ray tracing, if this was to change, would this GPU be an issue? 2. How does it compare on a performance basis? 3. Are the drivers worse or better than those for nVidia? 4. Linux support, is it there? 5. Anything else I should be aware of if I were to make this change? 6. Is it a good idea or shall I try and keep the 3080 a little longer.
    • What OS is that? It looks a bit like Mac OS but the command line suggests it isn't, either way I like it!
