NEWS BULLETIN:

It is with deep regret that the Neowin Times must announce the untimely murder of local townsperson Quick Shot. His body was found by the doctor in the middle of Front Street in the early hours of this morning.

Initial reports claim there was no struggle and Quick Shot appears to simply have been 'in the way' and unlucky to have ended up the victim of this tragic hit-and-run incident.

The sheriff has spoken to locals who claim that they saw the Mafia's orange wagon cruising down the street late last night. "It was almost certainly the Mafia", the sheriff said.

The doctor tried to resuscitate him, but unfortunately it was too late and Quick Shot was pronounced dead at the scene. The doctor claims he died instantly.

May Quick Shot rest in peace and continue to live on forever in our archives.

As for Quick Shot:

I seen him early before and he was acting a bit tipsy. I told him to let off the booze and that he should head home. He told me that he was not drunk and wants to visit his friend. After that, i seen him running down the middle of the street. A speedy car was unable to avoid Quick Shot. I seen the impact on the corner of my eye, from what i seen it was a hard impact and he was killed on impact

i was visiting new your city at the time and looking out my hotel room window, saw shof on the streetcorner watching the terrible 'accidnt' that befell quick shot. i also saw someone else come out from a dark alley and walk to the body of quickshot and shoot him seven or eight times in the head at close range. then they dropped a rose onto the body and walked away. it was not a pleasant scene :blink:
