If you guys are still hyped though, I *could* start a quick game with all of this game's members, for 6 hour cycles, a quarter strategically selected as being the Mafia, a quarter being informed "alliance" Townspeople, one Doctor and no Sheriff. Sounds good? Reply in the next 6 hours and we can begin tonight.

Sounds interesting, i would like to know the final times the cycles start and finish before i sign up though, i sleep for 10 hours or so a day so if were doing 6 hour cycles i would miss 1 and a bit cycles before i have any input. But can we do this after the next execution?

Im sure sleeping could be included into this:

"For some who have bad schedules (Work, school etc.) I propose that you will be included in this quick game, unless you state otherwise, and people can vote prior to sessions (Up to 2/3 votes at a time)."

so you can just take two votes before you go to bed

I can't do six hours cycles. I need a minimum of seven hours sleep :( How about eight hour cycles (three per day)?

I've been busy writing up some documentation for Neowin Mafia 3. sundayx, I will PM you it for ratification as soon as it's complete.

Included in the new version of the game will be some major changes including new roles, modified rules, and a whole new twist to gameplay.

That is only if people are still interested in the game? Perhaps after Mafia 2 Vengeance there should be a break for a week or two.

I'll be in the next game..

too bad we can't complete this game..

So i guess that this game is now officially over, can we reveal each other identities now or what..

P.S. also ONLY select people who say they will check in every 12 hours (i like the 12 hour schedule way) I know i can't check in from 11pm to 4pm, so the people who can't just cast 2 votes in one PM

for future notice, select members who are VERY active on the forums, no one under 200 posts.. since they probably won't come that often.

Damn, so not a lot is interested in "Neowin Mafia 2 Quick Vengence"? I'm so going to force it to run starting in 2 hours, to finish this unfinished game.

By the way the "results" of this game is listed on the first post.

More information about "Neowin Mafia 2 Quick Vengence" in the next hour.

Right now the member list of the next quick game is:

1. Shof*

2. Lt-DavidW*

3. addc182

4. DaveAlmighty*

5. lylesback2

6. rEiVeRjOhN

7. TrickFinlay2*

*Members who have died previous game.

This will be a 6 hour cycle game, which means you probably need to pre vote 2 or more names. 4 deaths per real day, 2 Mafia, 2 "Alliance" Townspeople, and 1 Doctor. Sounds good?

There are very active members on the forum that just don't vote...

Tis my last week at uni till october so I have been spending waay too much time out getting drunk, that's why I missed a couple of votes. I tried my best to keep active as best I could though. For the same reason I'm not going to join in with this 6 hour cycle game, I won't be here enough to participate enough so it would be unfair on other people who are joining in :)

I'm home from friday though, so bar a mates birthday on monday which I will be out for, I will be completly free, maybe to mod a game if nobody else steps forward :)

    • Can you read? I've said I'm willing to pay more for a notchless (no notch) 3:2 screen.
    • Not even an OLED display on the laptops. Also it seems that the laptop design isn't the same as the Surface Ultra model. Looks like bargain bin at high prices.
    • make your own notch - it's not that hard
    • VirtualBox 7.2.10 by Razvan Serea VirtualBox is a powerful x86 and AMD64/Intel64 virtualization product for enterprise as well as home use. Targeted at server, desktop and embedded use, it is now the only professional-quality virtualization solution that is also Open Source Software. Presently, VirtualBox runs on Windows, Linux, macOS, and Solaris hosts and supports a large number of guest operating systems including but not limited to Windows (NT 4.0, 2000, XP, Server 2003, Vista, 7, 8, Windows 10 and Windows 11), DOS/Windows 3.x, Linux (2.4, 2.6, 3.x, 4.x, 5.x and 6.x), Solaris and OpenSolaris, OS/2, OpenBSD, NetBSD and FreeBSD. Some of the features of VirtualBox are: Modularity. VirtualBox has an extremely modular design with well-defined internal programming interfaces and a client/server design. This makes it easy to control it from several interfaces at once: for example, you can start a virtual machine in a typical virtual machine GUI and then control that machine from the command line, or possibly remotely. VirtualBox also comes with a full Software Development Kit: even though it is Open Source Software, you don't have to hack the source to write a new interface for VirtualBox. Virtual machine descriptions in XML. The configuration settings of virtual machines are stored entirely in XML and are independent of the local machines. Virtual machine definitions can therefore easily be ported to other computers. • OK, now ask yourself how are they going to enforce that law? By requiring every single adult to prove their age and provide their legal identity documents to an UNREGULATED 3rd party company that already has a long track record of multiple data breaches. Not to mention, parliament have voted AGAINST this ban, twice, and Starmer is going ahead anyway. So, where's the democracy here, because that looks like dictatorship to me. The solution here is parental responsibility, not government control. Run some public service announcements on TV and UK social media teaching parents how to setup parental controls. That's already been proven to actually work. But the, this is not and has NEVER been about keeping kids safe. It's about control and monitoring. Watching what you're doing online and controlling what you can see and what you can say.
