How to mod Nintendo DS Lite?

Recommended Posts

i have the ez flash v combo and it's great. r4 is supposedly better for a few things, but ez flash plays gba games great, has rumble, and runs opera. (all of which need the 3 in 1 cart which comes with the combo). for any microsd based flash cart, you need a microsd card. i HIGHLY recommend the 1 gig kingston one at newegg.com which is the fastest one on the market (and faster=plays more games.)

deal extreme dot com can help you out. have lots of cheap flashcarts for the NDS and NDS lite there. I would go for the R4 personally (r4ds dot net). you won't be disappointed. shipping times suck tho.. expect a 3 week wait from time of order to time at your door.. can't beat the price though. You can also order a GBA slot rumble pak and different cases, screens or spare parts..

to the above post, I thought microSD was considered TransFlash and all cards ran at pretty much the same speed (fast as you can supply/take the data) I could be wrong though.. Kingston/Sandisk are great cards, but generic shouldn't cause issues either (unless it physically falls apart)
